Profound Sounds Episode 1 - Euphoria PDX

Profound Sounds Episode 3 - Live From Lightning In A Bottle Festival

New York-born DJ and producer Agent Orange has remixed the Josh Wink classic ‘Don’t Laugh’, out on 14th June via Nervous Records. 

Pitching down the acid-soaked original and adding a thumping kick drum, Agent Orange’s rework transforms ‘Don’t Laugh’ from peak-time weapon to terrace chugger, with techno titans Carl Cox, Adam Beyer and Nicole Moudaber already giving it support. The dub edit is even more sparse, allowing the sadistic laughing sample to take centre stage. Released back in 1995, the original, released via Josh Wink's Winx alias, is considered one of the most iconic acid house tracks of the era, amassing over 1.6 million views on YouTube to date.  
 
A dance music veteran with over 25 years in the game, Agent Orange runs the Gotham Grooves imprint. With over 70 musical releases under his belt on labels such as Toolroom, Tronic and Elevate, he regularly features in the Beatport Main and Techno Top 100 charts, with seven of his tracks rising to #1.

Premiere: Winx "Don't Laugh" (Agent Orange 2019 DJ Dub) - Nervous Records

One of the hottest residencies in dance music during the late 90's was the Josh Wink and King Britt's seminal party entitled "The Womb" at Fluid Nightclub. The night started as an outlet for the Ovum co-founders as a residency on the last Wednesday of each month where they could play for they local fanbase an intimate setting as most weekends had them on the road.  Over time the duo invited friends to join them and it became "the party" you had to play whether you were a US artist or someone coming in from abroad. During the residency the likes of Carl Cox, Richie Hawtin, Dubfire, DJ Sneak, and of course our brother Doc Martin joined the dynamic duo. We are happy to share with you this special evening from June of 1997 and Wink, Britt, and Doc took the Philly faithful on epic journey. Kick back and enjoy and please stay safe!
