The Nutek Chill episodes continue with a "definite trip for the soul" from Lab's Cloud aka Raul Jordan, a Spanish artist also known for his psytrance project Psycho Abstract.

Raul Jordan is the artist behind the Lab’s Cloud project. Born in 1978 in Valencia (Spain).
Raúl began producing Psychedelic Trance as PSYCHO ABSTRACT with many compilations and three albums in well-known labels as: Novatekk-Global Trance Network, Yellow Sunshine Explosion, Ovnimoon Records, Maharetta Rec, Flying Spores... And after some years, in
2004, Raul starts a new project focused in Ambient & Down Tempo music under the project's name: LAB'S CLOUD.

that make a sublime fusion that culminates into an aural experience. A definite trip for the soul!
The first single "Esmeralda" appears in 2005 in the compilation Chillum 4 (Agitato Records) motivating great interest in many international labels. (All releases bellow).
The live performances is a very important item for Lab’s Cloud, for that reason, Raul makes real live, improvising with synths and adapting the sounds according to the answer of the audience. And also playing some percussions in live.
His style in words of the listeners is: a smooth organic ride, sweet, deep, riding, floating,
beautiful and delicious music oriented to chill outs, with space atmospheres, some chilling
vocals, some ethnic sounds,
and acoustic recordings (percussion, guitars..etc)
Since several years, Raúl is working as R+D engineer, developing professional audio
processors (EQ, Compressors-Limiters, crossover...) for VMB Española. Actually with his
experience as sound engineer is offering his mixing and mastering services (Abstract
Studios), who demand it.

Portugal ambient duo ZEN BABOOM presents the 4th edition of Sofa Beats Series.

Zen Baboon are Daniel Rosado and Henrique Palhavã. Both were born in the 70`s in Portugal and since an early age kept a close connection with the musical world, focusing on great sound quality and original construction. Daniel is a sound engineer that worked in a studio in Lisbon and started producing electronic music in the late 90′s. Henrique, a zoologist, lives and works in his own farm and started as an ambient DJ, ( ̈DJ Henriq ̈) and producer in 2001. They got together in 2003 and decided to melt their musical preferences and create Zen Baboon.

The Day out of time is the culmination of the 13 Moon Calendar year originated from the Mayan science of time. On July 25th, Sirius (the dog star) rises with the sun. I have come up with an idea for creating a project, which was initially a series of events with electronic music, dedicated to all people having hearing problems or any other difficulties. Strange as it may sound, the party was to be a starting point for the mutual and social integration and also a break of interpersonal barriers.

Not everyone is aware of how this idea has developed, so let me explain to you that I was born with a significant hearing loss and I am used to wearing a deaf aids, which allows me to hear only a fragment of what you are telling each other behind my back ;-) . But to be serious, when I’ve started playing (as a @phil-jensky) during parties, it was almost 13 years ago, I never wanted to be perceived as a person with hearing difficulties. I wanted to be treated the same as everyone else. For a very long time, even my friends were unaware of my dysfunction and using my deaf aids (I did not use it during parties, even while playing). But, over time, I noticed that I had gained a greater distance towards this situation, changing my weakness into my strength.

You’ve probably noticed that I’m interested in downtempo music, where I try to sneak some oriental sounds for quite some time. It was apparent to me that all these finer points have something in common, that’s why, about 6 months ago, I’ve decided to create a completely new project, dedicated mainly to the current, where most of the music sets will be maintained in 90-120 BPM. The main idea of this project is a musical trip through the world of sounds - unusual and uncommon ones. I was waiting for the right moment to come.

Deaf Can Dance - is from now on, the name for my new project/alias, which will make its official debut during the Revive Festival 2018 where there will be a special downtempo/oriental stage.

I created nearly three hours journey between various sounds from over the world. Different voices, languages and musical instruments in this mix have one thing in common: love to music. If You want to explore something unknown, so this mix can be beginning of our common road in a music world.

PS. The name of the new project is also a tribute to Dead Can Dance.
