We're thrilled to present Camel Riders Records new release titled 'Minayo' by the French-Moroccan-based producers Sound of Mint, incl. remixes by DIBIDABO, Yamagucci, Feller, Salmani, Carla Valenti. The Live electronic musicians and producers Sound Of Mint are serving us in their debut EP on Camel RIders, three colorful and mesmerizing originals: 'Sama Bena' and 'Minayo' featuring the exceptional Kora player from Senegal, Mbemba Diebate, in addition to the EP theme track 'Kolinga'. Sound Of Mint's originals navigate through the vast landscapes of West Africa, creating an impeccable fusion of traditional instruments and rhythms, epic vocals, and organic elements which are all coated with fine electronic melodies and beats, suited for a wide range of moods and settings. First, we have 'Sama Bena' and 'Minayo' which both display an uplifting and warm atmosphere, combining divine Kora sounds, hypnotizing vocals, and captivating melodies with fine electronic sounds. The third original by Sound Of Mint is 'Kolinga', the EP theme track which combines funky traditional melodies, Guitars, organic percussions, wooden sounds, synths, and intoxicating tribal vocal fragments, which create all together with a fresh World Music Bluesy tune. On remix duty, we have the pleasure to welcome the Russian producer DIBIDABO and the Tel Aviv-based producer Salmani, with their debut on Camel Riders. In addition, we are thrilled to have back on our label the Japanese-Israeli producer Yamagucci, Feller from Beit Oren, and Carla Valenti from Chile. This talented team of remixers, catapult the originals to the heart of the dance floor, with a wide range of thrilling electronic sounds which vary from Slow Tech to Organic & Deep House, infusing pounding melodies, acidic elements, and fresh profound beats. Bridging the ancient and the modern, Without Borders is a collection of tracks inspired by live recordings of musical masters from the Middle East region. With over 20 years of travels through different world traditions, Gio has dedicated the past years to recording ceremonial and traditional sounds from around the world and more specifically the Middle East. Now, some of the world's brightest talents, including some new and emerging artists, took these recordings and created their own versions inspired by these sounds. All proceeds of this album will be donated to Musicians Without Borders, an NGO providing children in areas of conflict with musical education. You can find artists from all over the globe contributing music to raise money for this cause.

As an artist you look around your surroundings to gain inspiration to  release your feelings into your specific art form. Over the last few months, there has been a lot of news about construction of an oil pipeline by an oil company near Standing Rock Sioux Reservation.  To honor future generations, the Oceti Sakowin are fighting the pipeline to protect the water, sacred places, and all living beings with peaceful protests. During peaceful protests of prayers and songs, the opposition turned ugly and started attacking protesters continuously. A ton of emotions ran threw us as we were reading about what was going on. Day in and day out through freezing temperatures the Oceti Sakowin continue to protest the construction of the pipeline. We stand with Standing Rock. With this song we tribute to the Sioux Tribes. All proceeds from this release will be donated for Standing Rock to help with their fight to protect.

Bio
Immersed in electronic music since a young age, Patrik Khach has devoted his life to bringing people together through music. Currently residing in Los Angeles, Patrik is responsible for curating events sought out by DJ’s, attendees and many electronic music brands. Working for and along side industry giants, Patrik has created and maintained a high level of integrity that ripples through the city as one of the most in-demand acts. 

2016 was a defining year for Patrik as he and his team developed SBCLTR, an on-going series of meticulously curated parties in Los Angeles. This caused Patrik to become internationally recognized for his efforts in the Electronic Music Industry. The platform has served as an outlet for creative ingenuity and encourages artistic expression, allowing talent to breakthrough to a receptive audience in an atmospheric setting where events are strategically held in different locations. 

Pipe & Pochet was established in partnership with Ali Farahani as well in 2016. Together they have built the music label to be recognized as a leading source for Organic House music. Future projects promise Patrik is the face to watch as he continues to succeed each journey of his flourishing career. He sends an open invitation to the world for people to connect, one track at a time from one dance floor to another.
