During the first lock down, I participated in a remix contest for Real World Records, the label by Genesis founder Peter Gabriel. I had never done a remix contest before, so I wanted to try and see what it was like. 

The music produced by this band from Mali is far different from what I make, so it was challenging to see what would come out. This is the result. The track did not make it to the top 3, but the label gave green light to post it on Soundcloud (and I was invited to make an official remix for this band the next year).
