In light of Russia’s continued invasion of Ukraine, we’re donating all the proceeds from this release to Livyj Bereh, a Kyiv-based group of volunteers raising funds for necessary gear and vehicles, as well as the rebuilding of homes across the regions affected by war. Sustained help is still essential.

Significant Other unveils a new project: Pain Management. A new imprint presenting music and visual media across a variety of formats. The outlet launches with an original 4 track EP: When It Rains.

Christening the label with his first full length release since 2021, the producer steps out from behind the curtain with a batch of tracks guaranteed to soothe psychic woes and challenge sound systems alike.

True to the name of the label, this debut release delivers a healthy dose of leftfield club weight. Tough and tender in equal measure, it’s a record that explores in-between zones. A fever dream of narrative experiments at the outer edges of club music, packing enough punch to shake a dancefloor, but enough delicacy to soundtrack the ride home. The final product is a meeting of outsider sonics and sleazy dance tropes, body music for restless minds.

Step Ball Chain’s unconventional prototype band trickpony is the 11th release on the ever evolving imprint. An assortment of sensual cyber jams collaged together by the trio over timezones, birthed in Perth, Australia by Mike Midnight and Roza Terenzi; old friends joined by Helsinki’s visionary songstress Maria Korkeila. A trinity of alchemy blossomed into an audio rendition of exquisite corpse, layers of each entity glistening through amongst a united cosmos; trip hop atmospherics and downtempo drippings.

The five track EP reveals a metamorphosis of nostalgia, a foot in the ever present and daydreams of future. A subconscious deep dive into lustful pop, guided by spine tingling vocal fantasies; textural hallucination, harmonic odes to the golden era underground and a flirtation with drum and bass, tribal percussive freakouts and dream tinged lyrics of desire.

Pillow talk is a timeless exhibit of esoteric treasures, a portal to a private world of modern enchantment that reveals itself in new ways each listen, music for lovers created by a supergroup of innovators to be digested, shared and cherished.

Taking the road to nowhere can be tempting, just as the urge to leave everything behind. Paradoxically, embracing the void feels so fulfilling - but isn’t acceptance part of the grief? We’re all searching for our own secret place, where inner peace could finally grow from its embryonic stasis. 

Much like that uncertain trail, the present 'Collage' compilation charts a course through the soft, dreamy side of contemporary electronic music. Designed either for the club or a living room, this ethereal patchwork of 14 tracks is woven from silk-like sound design. ambient techno, experimental, IDM, atmospheric dub sonic - each genre highlights in turns ultra-stretched audio spectrums, smooth instrumental lines, introspective reverberations or digital breaks. 
After Jonnnah’s ‘The Next Kingdom’ - debut LP published earlier this year, this second release embodies the label’s musical ethos once again: cold yet heartwarming textures, celestial synths and volatile rhythms.

Maintaining a balance between loverboy and nonchalant is one of the hardest things a man has to deal with emotionally. Love the wrong woman, and you learn the lesson of why you shouldn't give everyone your heart. Become nonchalant towards a loving woman, and you learn the lesson of what could've been which might actually hurt worse. Point is, you need to be strong with discernment so you don't end up feeling delusional about having normal feelings and emotions.
