remix of an original 20 min track made in 1996. The original used a Jimi Hendrix sample of 5 seconds. This was painstakingly deconstructed over three months using SoundEdit. The samples created from this were woven back together into a critique of heroic male genres within music.
This track (called k_not)was then given to 10 Auckland artists to further remix. This and the 'Other k_not' track were my first (and last) explorations of a sequencer/synthesizer I had access to in Sola Rosa's studio that I rented for one night a week.
