We've been HUGE Evol Intent fans for a long time, so when they announced they we're hosting a remix contest for one of their tracks, I jumped on it! We've been working on this remix since the contest started and we're excited to share it! :D

When the guys posted the remix, they specifically said they were not looking for any drum n' bass remixes. So, we saw this as an excellent opportunity to debut our new project and sound that focuses around slower tempos, topical percussion, and chill basslines. We warped the stems we used up to 180bpm and gave the track a half-time feel, making it feel more like a 90bpm track. We also took all the samples down 4 steps which made the vocalist sound more like a male vocalist.
