Lost Records have called upon newcomer PAWSA to showcase his talents on the label’s third release.

The title track “Pilot” delivers a dose of straight up jacking grooves with infectious old school drums, precise hi-hats and growling basslines. “Pilot” introduces PAWSA’s slick productions setting the stage perfectly for the second track on the EP “The Narcissist”.

Built on similar foundations to “Pilot”, “The Narcissist” kicks off with a more stripped back soundscape, playing, sinister vocals against a low slung bass line. 
The final track of the EP “Pretty Good Debbie” is a more laid back affair the swinging hi-hats pushing the track through to a mean build up and drop.

To round off the EP the icing on the cake is a remix of “Pretty Good Debbie” from Italian legends Supernova. After a blistering 2013, Supernova bring their dark & dubby twist to the table, with key features of the original in tact cementing them into a heavier groove whilst playing off atmospheric build ups and break downs.

Our next release on Deeperfect is a collaboration effort from two heavy hitting producers. Form label boss, Popof, is a bonafide legend in the underground house and techno scene. He has been pumping out hits for more than ten years on the most important and genre defining labels, such as Cocoon, Truesoul, Bedrock and Hot Creations. On the other side of this meeting of creative minds is Stefano Kosa, an up and coming talent from Milan who has made a big name for himself with his music on important labels like Stereo Productions, Elrow and of course Popof’s label Form.
The first track on this dynamic two track EP is a mind bending tech house bomb titled ‘Synaptic’. On this energetic club cut the two producers have taken the tried and tested route of chunky and driving analog toughness in the drum section, with a deep sub bass to back up the low end pressure. Wild synth stabs deliver intensity and pump up the energy as twisted acid line emerges to create a guaranteed hands up response on the floor! 
Up next is the tough club weapon ‘Mobile Beats’. On this track Popof and Stefano Kosa have remained true to the theme of the EP and turned in another stomping tech house club record that is sure to find favour with the top level DJ’s around the globe. Hard hitting beats and driving bass are the order of the day here. The tough aesthetic is reinforced by ripping synthesized rave lines, quick vocal cuts and building effects that raise the tense energy to maximum levels!

Rich’s last outing for the influential imprint was large by any standards, spreading far beyond the FUSE dancefloors finding support from many places. Led by EP track ‘Serious’, which was heralded as one of the tunes of 2018 by Mixmag in their mid-year review, it got love from Seth Troxler and the Martinez Brothers at Circoloco, alongside heavy rinsing of ‘Brigade’ and ‘Eight’ by all the FUSE residents.
 
The ‘Hard To Be’ EP comes as another on-point three-track work from Rich that channels the same versatile spirit. ‘Wah’ is an uplifting slice of original house, mirroring the accessibility and fun of ‘Serious’ with a catchy riff that runs throughout. The track created an enormous buzz on the IOM group with hundreds of comments and I.D requests pouring in throughout the year, and soundtracked parties everywhere from Fuse’s raves at Studio 338 terrace in London, Sonus Festival and The Martinez Brother’s Cuttin’ Headz at ADE. ‘Interrobang’ is head-nodding brilliance as twisted bass and sampled attitude characterise the seven-minute peak time banger. ‘On The Rocks’ rounds out the EP as punchy kicks and buttery smooth bass mark this work of grooving minimalism, echoing the spirit of Fuse029’s ‘Eight’.
 
And so closes the chapter of this impressive body of work. In the process it’s proved what we already knew all along; his knack for providing fail-safe dancefloor ammunition for the Fuse faithful and beyond, remains as strong as ever.
