Portable latest is a 2-track ep for he's own Khoikhoi imprint. It's features a Bodycode remix of the now classic track "Surrender" The original was voted best new track by Pitchfork and got a DJ koze edit to boot. This new remix retains the essential elements which made it timeless while still offering a striped down version that would fit perfectly in the tea dance hours of a Panorama bar set.
The accompanying track "First things first " does exactly what it says on the tin and what Portable is known for, An infectious acid bassline, grabs you and doesn't let go while syths penetrate the deepest recesses of your soul. A Chicago house anthem heard in another dimension.

Spacelunch’s invention, which was waiting to be tested, ironically became a message through time to himself. A mess at work, as well as burglary, were commonplace even in emergencies. The piles of archive boxes did not bother Cat, who was skimming the information downloaded from a micro-SD.

"The tables with the estimates of operational characteristics – not it. The ballistic calculations – not it again... Found it!" — the tail rising with joy became an indicator of hope for a successful rescue operation. The formula of the superspeed elixir was looking seductively at him. All that was left to do was to upload the acquired data and analyse it upon returning to the lab. The silent jubilation was interrupted by the ear-splitting wail of the siren signalling that there was no room for mistake.

In my opinion it should have soul and at the same time be for eternity. Timelessness in sound is my philosophy

Minimalism:
Is there anything missing? No No No No for me nothing more is missing.... Less is more... With less you should fill the room optimally in sound design....

What Pirat records do not like:
don't like sirens including siren pauses and I don't like stories that are too predictable. I don't like normal claps.... dont like too much compression and too little dynamic space.

I don't make you any limits about the style of music.
