We all know the best moments in music normally have a way of just happening naturally.  The artist doesn't direct the music, but rather, the music directs the artist, thereby making the band a vessel for whatever is being channeled.  Since we all also know that humans tend to ruin things, we do our best to stay out of the way when these special musical moments happen. 
However, the typical expectation is for the moment to come and go, but what happens when the moment won't go, but stays?  Like a light in the attic that just won't burn out.  Flicker it might, but that only gives it character; And when it comes to Rock 'n Roll with a progressive influence, we like our character "super-sized" indeed. 
Line-up changes have occurred, but the core has remained, and Pistolero has been writing songs as a band for 12 years running.  Many people don't know that because becoming popular wasn't our main focus.  Various people refer to us as a "new" band, which we find funny.  In fact, we don't care about much except that it's our burning desire to experience Pistolero together because it's the most creative space any of us have ever experienced.  Trends come and go, but actual chemistry that withstands the test of time is exactly what keeps that attic light burning with fuel that can't be fabricated, purchased or produced.  
You'll never see us focused on strategic marketing or endless self-promotion because we pour all our energy into the music.  If that means we'll never hit 1000 Facebook likes, so be it.  If that means we'll only play to a fraction of an audience, that's ok.  We are content.  We are satisfied.  We are Pistolero: the sickest band you've never heard of.
