An experiment in making old and odd sampled instruments sound evil.

This instrumental was made as an experiment to used quite a few sampled older instruments, including old violins and an Omnichord, to see what interesting textures and ambience could be created.

Mixed, mastered and recorded in Windsor, Ontario.

Expanding upon the themes of loss and isolation in the first single 'null/void', the single 'echoes/waves' and its accompaniment '//' are meant to begin painting a bigger picture of this projects themes.

echoes/waves

This song takes a lighter turn than other releases to date, with a chill, relaxed tone. Focusing on a simple drum pattern and layered piano parts, I wanted to really boil the sentiment of the song down to a minimal.
