Bio : 

The name "Piatto" stands for a combo, that is the brothers Davide and Alessandro. Since his childhood Alessandro follows his brother's group called N.O.I.A.The N.O.I.A is probably the first Italian electronic musical group founded in 1978 by Davide Piatto and Bruno Magnani. In those years Alessandro is acquainted with Electronic Music and New Wave starting playing drum machine and synths. At the beginning of the 80's he produces demo tapes and starts to play live performances with various groups. In 1986 he plays dj sets with a punk style then, later on, they will become more techno. For what about Davide: "Claudio "Mozart" Rispoli, Davide Piatto and N.O.I.A., Alexander Robotnik, DFC Team are perhaps the main characters of a new style of music that can be called "Nouvelle Vague" which has influenced the traditional idea of Dance Music. These people with their "homemade production" have managed to reach international hits of music by inventing their peculiar and stylish music. Davide Piatto can be considered an "angry rocker" of his town (Cervia). He can be remembered with his group "Rebels Without a Cause" for his live concerts and his italian neo-rock style, both for the kind of music and the look [...]. N.O.I.A. represented the isolationism of the province, they used the first electronic machine, the analog synths, the ones that sounded just like a noisy bip but then will have become the stylistic mark of lisergic vision of acid house music; they used to play drum- machines that only Kraftwerk played at those times. At the beginning of the 80's Davide Piatto makes in his small bedroom some tracks that the world won't forget: they were few minutes of repetitive beat music recorded at a very low budget that became records named called Klein and MBO produced by Mario Boncaldo and Tony Carrasco. Later on DJs from Chicago such as Frankie Knuckles Marshall Jefferson, Phuture, Farle Jackmaster Flash, will trasform this cool energy in a masterpiece like "Love can't turn around". House music found its origin, a new style of music was born, that is the remix and a new way of playing pop music. We can call it "music for no-musicians", but only a turntable and a mixer that will have been the two main elements of the music of the future. Davide, at those times couldn't imagine that his homely productions could then be considered precious cult music by DJ Hell, Knuckles and the Detroit producers Adult that asked Piatto to record a CD with the unreleased tracks of N.O.I.A.(Taken from the book"Last night a dj saved my Life" Bill Brewster, Frank Broughton - Arcana Edizioni). At the beginning of the 90's Davide and Alessandro have started to collaborate together in studio and have begun to make music together. They have produced the unreleased of N.O.I.A. for the US label Ersatz Audio and started to collaborate with G.D. Luxxe as Raymond Barry. Their tracks were included in Pete Tong's playlist and Ivan Smugghe's compilation. Soon afterwords they started to work to an old project called "Funk Revenge" and produced an album for  Blade "from Jestofunk" record label. In 2005 they have started to collaborate with Dandi & Ugo and found together the record label "Italo Business" In 2006 they collaborated with Franz & Shape and released "The man who paid before" for Relish which was included in often Tiga's djsets. In 2008 they founded a new label: N.O.I.A. Records. Nowadays "Piatto" continue on releasing tracks and remixes for several labels reaching always good positions in the charts.

I’m a Belgian Belgian Dj-Composer-Artist, born in Antwerp, Belgie, and living in Bordeaux (France)
I was inspired by the Bordeaux’s electronic culture since my childhood.
I started to djing when i was 14 years Old.
I compose techno Tracks for “Believe Digital”.
I currently heading other French and internantional labels.
My favorite artists are called Umek, Dave Clarke, Mistress Barbara, Adam Beyer, Mauro Picotto, Marco Bailey,Samuel L Session.
These artists give me the inspiration for writing my tracks.
A remix work with other active artists (Belgian-French-Croatian) is underway.

I'm working on Ableton Live - Traktor Pro - Hardware: Korg MS-20 and Roland Juno, Korg RM1x + Vst's.
