Pitch is a Drum & Bass DJ who has been in the Dutch D&B scene for over 15 years. Besides DJing, he also organizes the Drum & Bass parties Bassball & Hardslag. His love for D&B is the result of visiting various party’s and festivals at home and abroad such as Major League, Hostile Takeover and Innovation in the Sun. Inspired by the headliners, he started to DJ and quickly became adept at "pitching" numbers, which led to the name Pitch. As a resident at Basz, Haagenbasz and the BassBall Crew, he has shown that he is at home in all markets with regard to the D&B. His specialty however is UK Jump'up D&B. This style is the real party D&B where the stage is often shared with MC's. This preference arose from the Innovation parties held all over the world. Soon this resulted in him doing promotion and playing at Innovation in the Dam and Innovation Spring Break. With influences from DJs like Andy C, Friction and Hazard he developed his own style and specializes in Jump'up, double drops and heavy bass tunes. That’s why with his UK-style tune selection it’s certain that the crowd will go freakin apeshit!

Pitch is een Drum & Bass DJ die al meer dan 15 jaar meedraait in de Nederlandse D&B scene. Naast het draaien organiseert hij ook de Drum & Bass feesten Bassball & Hardslag. Zijn liefde voor D&B is ontstaan door het bezoeken van verschillende feesten en festivals in binnen en buitenland zoals Major League, Hostile Takeover en Innovation in the Sun. Geïnspireerd door de headliners, begon hij zelf te draaien en werd al snel bedreven in het “pitchen” van nummers, wat leidde tot de naam Pitch. Als resident bij Basz, Haagenbasz en de Bassball Crew heeft hij laten zien dat hij van alle markten thuis is wat betreft de D&B. Zijn specialiteit is UK Jump’up D&B. Deze stijl is echt de party D&B waar ook vaak het podium wordt gedeeld met MC’s. Deze voorkeur ontstond door de Innovation feesten die over de hele wereld worden gehouden. Al snel draaide hij dan ook op Innovation in the Dam en Innovation Spring Break. Met invloeden van DJ’s zoals Andy C, Friction en Hazard ontwikkelde hij zijn eigen stijl en gespecialiseerd in Jump’up, double drops en heavy bass tunes. Met zijn UK-style tune selection is het daarom zeker dat de hele zaal uit z’n dak gaat!
