Graumann, a Turkish electronic music producer, invites listeners to an impressive music experience with his latest release, the "Sigrid" EP. The EP consists of two tracks, "Sigrid" and "Bye Leder," whose names are derived from the Norwegian language.
 
The track "Sigrid" gained recognition when Graumann played it during a B2B set with Solomun and Adriatique at the 2022 Amsterdam Dance Event. This captivating piece showcases elements of Melodic House and Techno, with energetic rhythms and rich synth melodies taking center stage. "Sigrid" immerses listeners in an intense and captivating atmosphere, evoking a sense of losing oneself on the dance floor, while incorporating prominent House music elements.
 
On the other hand, "Bye Leder" stands out as the second successful composition on the Sigrid EP. dubspeeka, known from a streak of amazing originals and remixes on Drumcode, LNOE and other labels, makes his OFF debut with a deep dub techno remix in his signature style, chopping up the vocal in a hypnotic way.

Musumeci, who established himself with a small but very characteristic number of tracks on Connaisseur, Bedrock and his own "Engrave LTD" label, delivers 2 remix versions; both in his trademark minimalistic and timeless production style.

Finally, Melokolektiv, one of OFF's new core acts, deliver an interpretation that is both functional and epic, based on a latin flavoured groove.

AKASE - "Rust" single

AKASE, the new collaborative project between Harry Agius (better known as Midland) and Robbie Redway, is the latest artist signing to !K7 Records. Formed in Leeds, written in London and finished in Berlin under the influence of Ewan Pearson, "Rust" is the first piece of music to surface from the project.

As Midland, Harry Agius has built a reputation for releasing delicately brilliant bass driven house and techno, and over the course of his various releases he has hinted at a desire to explore sounds away from the dancefloor. Coupled with the songwriting talents and vocals of Robbie Redway, "Rust" delivers on the potential of that exploration.

In addition to the original mix, the "Rust" single includes a Midland remix, which peels back the vocals and adds some dancefloor thrust.

AKASE - Rust (Midland Dub)

Theta Eridani (θ Eri, θ Eridani) is a star in the constellation Eridanus. It has the traditional name Acamar from the Arabik Ākhir an-nahr which means "the end of the river“.
Acamar is a double star with some evidence suggesting it is part of a multiple star system
Acamar's distance from Earth as measured by the Hipparcos astrometry satellite is approximately 120 light-years.
Ptolemy described Acamar as a first-magnitude star, which some have taken to be in fact Achernar, which today appears just above the horizon in Alexandria where Ptolemy lived.
Achernar, however, was not visible to Ptolemy (it is from Alexandria today due to procession); its declination in 100CE was -67, making it invisible even at Aswan. Ptolemy's Eridanus thus without doubt ended at Acamar, which rose about 10 degrees above the horizon from Alexandria. This fact besides positively identifying Acamar as the original "end of the river", also strengthens the case for Acamar having been first magnitude in ancient times.
