Once upon a time there was a panther that resided in a pit. Some say she was called Pernille, a name gifted by a Valkyrie that graced the pit on occasions. Locals claimed she was a pig on the loose from the Kabul zoo, while that remains highly unlikely considering that the panther would rather play what animals could not. 
Tangled in analogue pasta, the panther sunk deeper into the Zone. Rumors have it she ended up being possessed by 4D music, sung in all the 6501 ancient languages. You don’t deserve your freedom, she reasoned, you got too much love, not enough war. Sarcastic she was, but always offered an ode to the great lizard above. 
Sweeping through space-time compression, she was reminded about the futility of going back to yesterday, as she was a different creature then. While riding on 200 watts cabs to Byblos might have been the fastest she had ever voyaged, she was now overwhelmed by the crescendo halt achieved by the choir of big bottoms and tiny tops that waited in reverence at her final destination.
