キッチュで聴き手の情感に寄り添う温かいサウンドを表現するロンドン育ち／メルボルン在住のミュージシャン兼プロデューサーRob Mastertonによるソロ・プロジェクト"Super Magic Hats"の2ndアルバム。

ドリーム・ポップ・チルウェイヴといったイメージを軸に　一聴するとコケティシュかつスタイリュシュな印象を持つサウンドの中に、温かさ、楽しさ、懐かしさ、物悲しさといった都度の感情から想起される叙情性がより深い音楽性とともに瑞々しく帰結しており、90年代から脈々と受け継がれる良質なダウンテンポ～ブレイクビーツを踏襲した無駄のないプロダクションと相まい、制作に15ヶ月以上をかけたという本作を確かなものとしている。またロンドン～メルボルンなどで培ったであろう80年代以降の多様なサウンドがSuper Magic Hatsの手腕の中で見事に昇華されており、それが本作の世界観を広げ魅力的なものにしている。

ゲストヴォーカルとして、シューゲイズロックポップユニットChelsea Terraceと併行してソロプロジェクトGrayNightlyとしても活動するMayumi、ロンドンとメルボルンを拠点に活動するボーカリスト／作曲家／プロデューサーRosaline Yuenが参加しているほか、M1/4/13でIA、M2でIrohaとIA、M6/7/8/11で初音ミクを起用、日本の音楽にとても詳しい彼が創り出す音楽　はあたかもウルリッヒ・シュナウス×ボーカロイドといった趣きとして感じ取れるかもしれない。

マスタリングは、シアトルを拠点にユニットThe New Lawなどのアーティスト活動と併行してBreakpoint Mastering主宰するAdam Straneyが担当、またアートワークは、絵本や様々なアート作品のみならずイベントや個展でも活動中の人気イラストレーターIzumi Fontanaが担当する。

ロンドン育ち／メルボルン在住のミュージシャン兼プロデューサーRob Mastertonによるソロ・プロジェクト"Super Magic Hats"。
ポップなメロディーを主軸にノイズと実験性を織り交ぜたキッチュなサウンドを展開、一般的な楽器以外の物をも含めたサンプリングをベースに心地よい空間系エフェクトを施し複雑かつ綿密に構築し、聴き手の情感に寄り添う温かい楽曲をプロデュースしている。

これまでに、米シアトルのHush Hushレーベルよりアルバム『Separation』を2016年5月にリリース、4枚のEP『Daydram』（Hush Hush 2015）『Slowly』（Tanukineiri 2015）『Kumori』（Hush Hush 2014）『Super Magic Hats』（Self 2013）、また4枚のシングルをリリースする。

Super Magic Hatsの楽曲「Happy Jazz」と「Hangin'」がオーストラリアとメルボルンの大手ラジオ曲＜Triple J＞と＜Triple R＞で大きく取り上げられたことにより2011年にまずはメルボルンのシーンで注目されることになる。それが発端となり楽曲「Happy Jazz」はBleep.comの未契約トラックを集めた部門で4,000曲の中から最優秀を獲得、英BBCの＜Radio 6＞でもオンエアーされさらに高い評価を得ることとなり、エレクトロニックのニューカマーを収録したBleepのコンピレーションにも収録される。

同年9月からライブ・パフォーマンスも開始、その後シドニー出身のインディー／ダンス・バンドRÜFÜS（RÜFÜS DU SOL）、Warner MusicオーストラリアのアーティストThe Kite String Tangle、米Ghostly InternationalのShigetoらのツアーをサポート・アクトとしてオーストラリアの有名な会場で数多い公演を行う。

そして2017年3月、制作に15ヶ月以上をかけ、より音楽の深さと叙情性を纏わせた秀逸な2ndアルバム『Wish』をリリースする。
