A city is a place for us to be lonely together... 'Loneliness in a big city' - a topic which has been accompanying people since they started their travels to far away places. But what does this particular loneliness really mean nowadays? Is it just a void filled with sadness and feeling of isolation in the coldhearted sort of place? Or maybe a space in one's mind to find the better path on their road of life...?
Let us present you opinions of several foreigners trying to make their dreams come true in a different country. Gordon Gieseking is a graphic artist and DJ for Project Mooncircle | hhv.de | Finest Ego | Project Squared. He was support Dj for acts like Robot Koch, Mike Slott, fLako, 1000 Names, John Robinson, Lewis Parker, Gang Starr, Zion I etc. He is the founder of the Electronic / HipHop label Project: Mooncircle and co – founder of the Dubstep / Techno sublabel Project Squared. Gordon Gieseking is one of the key organisers alongside Paul Cooper and Thomas Ulrich from hhv.de. As a graphic artist he creates artwork for Beta Bodega Coalition, Subversiv Records, Project Mooncircle, Amacs Skateboards, Universal Music, Zoo York, Subversiv Clothing, Warp Records, Tres Records, Botanica del Jibaro, Arepaz, Ninja Tune, Planet Mu, Project Squared or for acts like John Robinson aka Lil’ Sci from Scienz of Life with MF Doom, Robot Koch, Lewis Parker, The Q4, Astronautalis and many more. Besides he works for hhv.de as Label / Distribution manager. He’s member / founder of the Future Beat Music platform: Finest Ego and host for the radio show on Twen FM and BLN.FM in Berlin.
