Had the honour of opening up for Atroxx, ROUSZ and KASH at Vantek the other night, a night of relentless, driving techno. 

Big shouts to Zen Den and Electric Love for making it happen.

I played some deep, dark, swirly, psychedelic techno with elements of dub and acid peppered in. 

Opening on the night allowed me the chance to experiment with the slower side of techno -- something I’ve only recently discovered, and really started loving listening to, and mixing. 

The focus was to keep the vibe flowing while not going too hard and just allowing people to wander in and sway until it was time to start shuffling harder. I had a lot of fun playing and the support I recieved on the night was wild.

There's a couple of times through the set where the audio jumps back/repeats itself and the sound quality wavers. This is an issue with the recording file. 

It was a blast to finally make my debut at Vantek, and a great learning experience. Hope you enjoy listening to the set

I love exploring house music as much as I do techno. 

The process always begins with the idea of wanting to play something new, and then begins the journey to find songs, and build a set list that flows. 

This time I tried steering towards the deeper, more minimal side of house, peppering in some breaks (because how could I not!)

The goal was to create a chill, warm, inviting vibe. 

This is a long one, but perfect to have on in the background for any kind of day or night if you want something easy to listen to and get your feet moving a wee bit :)
