I've been listening to UT:HH lately and now I remember why it inspired me so much! Though, to be honest, it is also discouraging to hear such good music while having no idea of how to make some of your own... So I decided to make an arrangement of "Synchronicity"! It definitely is not as good as the one Luna made all those years ago, but I wanted to push myself for once, if at least to prove to myself that there is something there worth keeping alive...

So, on the topic to my dusttale take. I keep on referring to it as "dead" or "never to be," and it's mostly because the original idea I had for it doesn't really appeal to me anymore (that is sort of why there are so many UT:HH inspirations). In a way, I felt stuck with the concept, since it was essentially "undertale geno but with extra steps." I have a google doc with the OST planned out (the names and such), and it was fun to from time to time poke my head in there and make a song based around an idea I had years ago. But over time the many problems with the story became apparent. It was hard to keep making music for a project I had taken its wings off. But I kept it alive because it gave me an excuse to make music, and because I was afraid that letting it rest would mean something...

Lately I've been thinking about revamping the AU. It probably would be just another UT:HH take at this point, since that is more close to the story I'd like to tell. In a way that is why I made this arrangement, as a proof of concept to see if I could truly ever make anything comparable to what Luna made. I can't give a date of when such thing will be made, and I can't really promise that it will ever be made in the first place, but if the me of the future ever has the heart to do it, I hope you'll be there to at least give it a listen.

I'll maintain the old account, however. I don't really feel like deleting it again since there is already some good music in there. I probably will come back to it from time to time whenever inspiration arrives to make one of the planned songs.

This would be the "Synchronicity" replacement for such an AU, "UNDERTALE: Dusttale Hack!"
