Von Pea & The Other Guys reunite after the release of their acclaimed EP “To:You” (2014) and their full length LP “The Fiasco” (2017). The “Tanya Morgan” emcee and DMV production duo return with a 5 song EP entitled “I’m Good Luv, Enjoy” laced with the soulful samples, hard hitting drums, and clever rhymes the trio have been known to provide. One of the more versatile rappers that emerged from the “Dirty South” school of hip-hop in the early 2000’s, multi Gold and Grammy nominated North Carolina native Petey Pablo has demonstrated the art of mixing poignancy with sharp lyrics that reach across age, race and social status. The gruff voiced emcee was born and raised in Greenville, NC and is best known for rap anthems “Raise Up,” “Freek-A-Leek” and “Carolina Colors” which became mainstays on urban radio and is sports stadiums across the country.

“Raise Up” peaked at #1 on the US Billboard Rap chart and #25 on the Billboard Top 100.  “Freek-A-Leek” climbed to #2.  In addition to his solo-career, Petey has collaborated with Ciara (“Goodies”), Timbaland (“Red Bone”), Chris Brown (“Drop Rap”), Lil Wayne (“Gangsta Shit”) and many others. Petey has demonstrated his versatility with roles in Drumline, Just Another Day and most recently on Empire, a guest appearance that included writing and performing “Snitch Bitch” alongside Terrance Howard on the episode. 

His albums Diary of A Sinner: 1st Entry (which was nominated for a Grammy for Best Rap Album and included production from Timbaland) and Still Writing In My Diary: 2nd Entry (which included production from Timbaland, Kanye West, Scott Storch, Mannie Fresh & Lil Jon) showcase diverse efforts from stereotypical Dirty South decadence to poignant, autobiographical material that reflect on the hardships and challenges he experienced growing up in the deep south.  

After a very lengthy hiatus, Petey Pablo returns with a new comeback album, Keep On Goin’, a self produced project which will be released on 9-14-2018.  Today, “back like he never left,” Petey releases his new single and title track “Keep On Goin’.’

In the 1st half of 2018, Wu-Tang Clan fans worldwide were hopeful that the previous sale of the one of a kind Wu-Tang album, Once Upon a Time in Shaolin, would change hands from the currently incarcerated owner Martin Shkreli to Wu-Tang affiliate Matthew “M80” Markoff who would release it freely to the public--- to be appreciated by all. In light of Markoff’s 1 million dollar offer, the sale never came to fruition and Markoff like most Wu-Tang fans simply wrote off the notion of the one of a kind album and any chance at ever being able to hear it after that. 

It’s a good thing that Ghostface is a man of the people! Wu-Tang Clan’s own Ghostface Killah will release his new studio album, The Lost Tapes, alongside legendary underground producer Big Ghost on 10-5-18. The collective goal was to bring fans back to the Ironman/Supreme Clientele/Cuban Linx Era sound. Both Ghost’s set out to revive that feeling, update it for 2018 and create another certified Wu-Tang Banger!

The Lost Tapes also features an All-Star Line-Up including; Snoop Dogg, E-40, Big Daddy Kane, Raekwon, Masta Killa, Cappadonna Killah Priest, Sheek Louch, Ras Kass, Michael Rapaport and more.  

Today, Ghostface releases the projects new single, “Done It Again,” via an exclusive premiere with Complex.  Every great Ghostface album has at least one track that shows love to the divine beauty of the feminine species.  The even greater ones show love to the pioneers of the culture.  “Done It Again” happens to do both.
