SLY LITTLE CREATURES: THE INFRASTRUCTURE

When I was a kid, I was deathly afraid of dogs. A friend of mine had a runt--a tiny, small, brown dog with a bark like a squeak toy. Every time it came near me, I jumped on top of a table and begged my  friend to get it away from me. It wasn't until much later when I found out that I love dogs. I grew a small but effective appreciation for animals in general.

Sly Little Creatures was started around the same time when I was writing Voices Call. It stems from my imagination of exploring plains with a flashlight in pitch-black darkness. Stars winking and blinking, and you'd see them on the horizons too, except that some of those stars were actually the eyes of these little devious creatures that try to steal your things. But they're really cute so you can't hate them..

On my journey to slowly become an introvert, I realized I no longer truly sought human companionship, but rather a man's best friend.

@intr0beatz is a veteran of the Icelandic underground scene and will be joining us at our home 'sub8ten' in leicester uk on Saturday March 18th.
 His interest in music started at an early age as he was influenced and inspired by his father, a songwriter and a jazz lover. 
Inspired by the seemingly endless source of new directions in rhythms and sounds of the 90´s, Introbeats started out as a turntablist but got his hands on his first beat machine in 1998 and never looked back, although the turntabling has always played it's part up to this day. Today he‘s known for his contribution to the hip hop scene. 
As a member of one of most respected hip hop groups in Iceland, Forgotten Lores, he's also crafted beats and been a dj for some of the best rap artists in Iceland. In 2011 Introbeats released his first electronic solo album, Halftime on Möller Records, and from that point felt the urge to dig even deeper into his love for the sounds of the 90´s. 
Introbeats now attacks the stage with his interpretation of funky soulful house music and has garnered a reputation as a go to DJ in the Icelandic scene. Also intros new track is being released on Alexander Lay-fars new lable In-Beat-Ween Music, Track titled that dub (tape mix) ft Lay-far himself
