Red Queen's Race (Run In Place to Keep Up )

This originates from a module I tool with & rearranging on the guitar using tight closed harmonies & weak roots. The sound of the progression & harmony always reminds me of a photograph from an amazing summer, a very long time ago.
After transferring the idea to keyboard-MIDI controller I realized it captured the emotional effect more precisely & granularly. 
I'm uploading a few sketches [warts & all] so it will motivate me to add slash chord C section + arrangement with Drums, Bass, & atmospherics.

Wow, April 24 2009 with Orbit Shaker at  Wings on 6th & Scott. I know time is proportional to gravity, or the other way around 🤔.. Does it feel like 15 years ago? My daughter was born a little over 5 months after this gig. If not for this recording to time stamp the event, perhaps the memory of this night would drift down the memory stream until  diffusing through the semipermeable membraneous substance, to the other side.
What other side, you ask?
The eternal quantum state of flux, duh.
However, there's always option 2.  Perhaps, the memories drift off down a sidestream, into the deep memory current of oceanic boundlessness. The finite, cavernous specks of Infinity, where moments and memories become the fuel for dreams, combustion energy for harmony melodica, rhythm logic & overtone infinitum, or mysterious eclectica 🤔

This started after playing one of the lush Poly Pad presets on the new Meris Enzo X synth. The progression, which is somewhat abstract, was inspired by and assembled while watching a loop of the biggest waves ever recorded in Nazaré, Portugal. The oscillating accompaniment—or quasi-melody—is essentially a combination of pitch-shifted guitar with variable tremolo rates applied. This version was uploaded straight from the Koala sampler; it was not my original intention. After loading the Enzo X sounds and the oscillations, I arranged the progression, the harmonic rhythm, and the upper, mid, and lower voices in Koala—all while watching the gigantic waves again in Nazaré.

The hops happened in warm July a few summers ago. The hops at the beach and the hops in chadds ford! Twas recorded on a hot summer night in chadds ford before Izzy was born. funky good times in that house. damn good times. recorded on the 3rd floor which became "the studio" before we moved. Before it was the studio it was the attic. Before it was the attic it was Tom`s room (& a few cats) Before it was Tom`s room it was Jenny`s room (in high school I think). Before it was Jenny`s room it was a teacher`s room back in the 1930`s. Before it was the teacher`s room it was the 3rd floor of a corner store in the mid to late 1800`s. They brewed beer in the cellar and stored the hops in the attic. That house has been home to many people but it will always be Jenny`s house to me.
