"Indecisive Moon" is the first single from New York native and multi-instrumentalist singer-songwriter P.J. O’Connor. A love song to New York City, “Indecisive Moon” is about the intense sensation of finding romance within the backdrop of Gotham. It can turn on a dime, as life often does.
 
The song has addedl emotional resonance these past seven months, and feeling alone in the big city has taken on new meaning. But even through challenging times, the city, and its people, always show their resilience. When O’Connor sings, "May the lights of New York City shine on me wherever I go," he recites a prayer of sorts - that the intense, fleeting love that he only feels in this place will, like the moon, inevitably show her face again.

O’Connor, a veteran performer and seasoned musician whose first solo album, Television’s Golden Age is set to release this fall, was previously the drummer/percussionist for a variety of cult-status bands (The Bogmen, Radio 4), and his musical repertoire includes collaborations with Jerry Harrison (Talking Heads) and Gordan Gano (Violent Femmes). His new collection of songs reveals the depth of his bright yet intimate songwriting as well as the soulful heart beating behind New York City’s chaotic, gritty exterior.

New York native P.J. O’Connor (The Bogmen, Radio 4) is a seasoned musician whose critically acclaimed solo album, Television’s Golden Age, was called “…an impressive debut” by Relix Magazine and “A superb solo album...flush with optimism and exuberance” by Goldmine. His bright, intimate songs reflect the spiritual sunshine of Van Morrison combined with Michael Kiwanuka’s funky folk yet reveals a soulful, Tom Waits-ish poetic heart beating behind NYC’s gritty exterior. Tracks from the album have been featured on the CBS television shows NCIS: Los Angeles and INSTIИCT while also garnering significant radio airplay in both the U.S. and UK.
