Berlin based Canadian @eddiec is one of the heaviest hitters on the Slo-Mo Disco scene having built up a vociferous following across the globe via his energy soaked DJ sets and eclectic releases via the likes of Wolf Music and Sleazy Beats.

As a dj Ahu played at festivals like Barcelona Sonar Festival, Southern Soul Festival, Jazzystan, Brainfeeder and clubs like Plastic People, Boiler Room London, Baltic Room, East Village, Trinity, Nectar and Gilles Peterson’s World Wide Awards. Her track Turn The Lights On used by Prada, on Ava DuVernay’s The Door for Women's Rights. In 2019 her single "Go" came out from Sony Music. Her latest EP, Platonic is released in 2020 and she has a monthly show called "Hour of Light" on WWFM.

Sune is a producer, label owner and DJ hailing from the coastal city of Malmo, Sweden. Back in 2017 Sune appeared on the Icelandic label Lagaffe Tales in "Tale of Tales: Chapter 2" with his dusty disco groover 'I'Il Be Right Back“, followed up by his celebrated 12" debut "8 Till Late EP" on the Australian etiquette Kyoku Records shortly thereafter.

In present time, Sune is afﬁliated with arguably some of the most influential labels in the house scene of today, with releases on Let's Play House, Apparel Music, Better Listen Records and his own Honey Butter Records to name a very few. Because of his various musical outings, Sune has performed in cities like New York, Moscow, Los Angeles, Washington, Portland, Saint Petersburg, Amsterdam, London, Berlin, Copenhagen, Stockholm.

For the next slot in our MIXED BY series, we would like to introduce an extremely special selector who goes by the name of Mendel. While many DJs work to send dancers solely into a tizzy of energy, Mendel tends to focus more on bringing people closer together with a seamless stitching of music spanning the entire spectrum of time and genre. Throwing in tracks and edits made 50 years apart that rub against one another in novel ways, Mendel never ceases to create a truly timeless feeling with his sets.

We are so grateful that Mendel has taken the time to both grace us with yet another sample of his skill, and to answer some questions we have about how he keeps moving forward and looking backward at the same time.
