I attempted a 7th Doctor remix. It could've gone better.

Worked this up in the Ableton Live 9 trial in about 11 hours. I hope you all enjoy it and it'll appear on Whomix as well (credit to D. Stewart for Derbyshire samples). :)

A New Quest

This originally began as just a basic remix of Lana Del Rey's recently released version of Disney's 'Once Upon a Dream', originally from Sleeping Beauty. However, Lana's version strips away and/or replaces some of the more interesting chords in the original song and consequently some of the melody lines are altered as well. I wanted to see if the atmosphere Lana's version could still work with the original chord structures and this is the end result.

This also comes as my unintended singing debut onto my soundcloud. I could've just used an instrument but ... ah well. I hope my voice isn't so bad. :P

This is something I've been meaning to do for aaaaages, and for anyone unsure of what it is, it's the piece of music played in the 50th anniversary trailer featuring all the Doctors with bits of DW trivia floating about everywhere.

I'm thinking about doing an extended/longer version but I haven't thought how exactly I'd go about that and I'm very short on time until August. Will just have to see.

I was messing around with some new drum synths in a Doctor Who piece and the theme that sprung up around it sounded like  something that could easily be the sister of Hardwire's "Time Tunnel" whomixes. Henceforth, here is Time Corridor.

I'm also releasing another version of Time Corridor (Extended) with this added epilogue! This features a shortened version of Tegan's goodbye at the end of Resurrection of the Daleks, with revitalised music! Think of it as what Murray Gold would probs do if he were George Lucas.

Now I love Florence + the Machine. I also love Doctor Who. This is what happens when I try to blend the two. It was a bit of an experiment, combining bits from Flo's 'Lungs' and 'How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful' that I'm not sure worked but hey, here we go.

Happy Christmas everyone! I hope everyone got what they wanted and are getting trashed, I know that all I want is River's sonic trowel and several glasses of wine. 

This Christmas, I thought I'd do something a tad different and delve into the soundtrack a bit, give my arranging skills a bit of a flex, featuring a chappy called "The Doctor" on guitar. 

Think of this as a musical rendition of 'Hell Bent', as it borrows from Vale Decem's rendition of the Doctor's theme and This is Gallifrey to tell the sad and beautiful tale of how the Doctor made it home and said goodbye to Clara, without even knowing who she is anymore.

What will I come up with next? Ooh, spoilers!
