'Tommy Rawson releases are sporadic but always high quality, just the way we like a release schedule here at Picc HQ!

This, his first release for Bergarac, demonstrates a fresh new side to the producer - wide-eyed, glamorous and optimistic; and a perfect fusion of disco flavours with house music sensibility. 

"Deep Blue" is the Summer giving us one last dance. Just before the dark nights kicks in and music gets more nocturnal; the track celebrates under low suns casting crepuscular rays, its solar-flecked horns (by Vicky Flint) raising our arms slowly to the sky in an end-of-season celebration. 

"Past Tense" is a super tropical African tinged house stomper which shows Tommy's love of sunshine vibes once more with acres of space, insistent chants, dubby pianos and a tinge of jungle's 'Reece' bass - much to my enjoyment! 

The final track "Into The Future" takes us headfirst into Balearic-house territory, those super hats, wet claps and soft kicks ushering a host of lilting melodies, echo-soaked vox and tantalizing micro-melodies. Super!'
