PJ Ricochet kicks off the year with an energetic remix of “Top Of The Year” featuring - Pooca Leroy, Fat Pimp, T Cash, and Kolombia.

Dallas, TX (January, 2021) – one of Dallas’ most energetic hip-hop artists, PJ Ricochet, is proud to release the remix of his 2020 hit “Top of the Year”. The DFW Hip-Hop artist known for his hits, “Neva Lock Wit a Opp”, “Clean as a Whistle,” and “She Bangin’,” released his hard hitting single, “Top Of The Year”, in the beginning of 2020. Now in 2021, Ricochet once again brings heavy bass, rhyme complexity, and his tell-it-like-it-is style, while giving a chance for a crew of other artist to bring their dynamic takes on the hit for his much-anticipated remix.

For over 15 years, PJ Ricochet has performed throughout the DFW Metro, built up his regional following, and traveled the U.S. during his 2016 national tour. Equal to a speeding bullet bouncing off its intended target and deflecting from one object to the next, Dallas-based rapper Ricochet has discharged through the Lone Star State like a musical cannon ball. Within the last couple of years, Ricochet has proven that he is ready for major exposure. 

Already a north Texas underground heavyweight, beginning in 2009 Ricochet’s name gained fame in the streets and the suburbs with runaway smash single “Clean As A Whistle.” The joint got so hot that it gained heavy rotation on K104.5 FM, 97.9 The Beat, 89.3 KNON in the Dallas/ Ft. Worth area and 106.1 Kiss FM in neighboring Denton, as well as several other stations nationwide. 

He kept his name ringing with regional hit single “Ms. Runway” featuring platinum Dallas rapper Dorrough (“Ice Cream Paint Job,” “Walk That Walk” and “Get Big”). And he has constantly fed the streets with down South heat seekers “Buy What I Wanna” and “Fly Den A B!#%*h.”  While dropping club bangers such as She Bangin, Wuthcagondoo, and , Don't Regret It, Ricochet has taken a more national approach with his most recent project "The Playne Way" which is getting thousands of hits daily as well as moving physical units.

“Ricochet is one of the hottest artists to ever come out of the DF-Dub,” co-signs former K104 program director Skip Cheatham. “It's long overdue but now it's time for the world to feel Ricochet!” Born in the Oak Cliff section of Dallas and raised in various counties around Texas, Ricochet wrote his first rhyme as a Mother’s Day present to his mom. From there, he began to use music as an outlet to express the frustrations of dealing with life in the ghetto. 

Within no time, he realized that he had a knack for wordplay and the ability to appeal to many people with his rhymes. Jumping into the game headfirst, he got his introduction to the limelight opening up shows for multi-platinum Miami rapper Rick Ross, trapper-turned-rapper Shawty Lo, Killer Mike, Baton Rouge bad boy Webbie, Soulja Boy and R&B heartthrobs Pretty Ricky. 

“When I spit, my energy bounces from me to everybody in my vicinity,” he says. “When I get on stage, I know how to control my crowd. So my energy transfers from me to everybody in the crowd.”
