Ready for Change

Hello Again... I am ready to share my latest work with you!

It is titled: Reminiscin'

After my friend Evelyn heard the last track I dropped "The One That Got Away" about our friendship... she was like... "I love the track! What's next? You should keep reminiscing."

So I took Evelyn's advice and came up with my latest project. 

In my twenties... I developed an inner circle of friends that was an eclectic mix of good genuine people. They were all the perfect kind of people you'd want to experience young adulthood with. I personally find it hard to meet people like that anymore. Everybody moves so fast these days!

Anyhow... just about every Friday night Evelyn and I would go to the club or bar... She would pick me up right after my day job. At night Evelyn and I worked at a drug store and sometimes we'd go out right after work...

It really became a routine.... even though Evelyn always seemed shy about asking me to go out... I remember the relief I would feel over her after she'd say "lets go out!" of course I was always down and would respond SURE! I'd known most of my club head friends years before we became friends... and I would always reassure her that she is on the same level with me as they are...

Our night out painting the town red... was typically Friday night because we'd go to work on Saturday morning at 8am... hungover! Those were days! We've all had them!

The inspiration behind this song is a culmination of the moments I spent with all those good genuine folks that I call friend from my twenties!!!

I went with a Hip Hop beat on this one... and that's probably the reason it took me so long to complete it... It was a way lower BPM than I am used to... and couldn't get the hook right... but I'm satisfied now... I hope you like it! Enjoy.... until next time. Thanks for listening.
