Struggle with a purpose

I created this song when my mom was living with me and going through chemo. I used to come home from work and go up to my room and close the door. When times get tough and we can't understand or control ourselves. We retreat back to the ways of old... the things that used to comfort us and get us through hard times. It's subconscious, it's raw and real... it's our source.

Do not fear the things that pull you from our comfort zone. It's a temporary feeling that will have everlasting results.

Hi and Lo

The struggle and the journey are very much REAL. The fear of self discovery... we all want to be our authentic selves. How do we reconcile the influences around us with that internal beat we yearn to follow, expand and grow? I am a work in progress.... I always will be. I continue to surprise and amaze myself as I discover self imposed barriers I never knew I had created for myself. Listen to your vibe, isolate it deep within your soul.  Hold it, follow it, grow it but most importantly share it... for it is when we share and care, we grow and expand.
