25 years ago Billy Nasty launched Electrix Records to shine a light on quality Electro releases for the floor. The label has gone on to release music from the likes of Zeta Reticula (a.k.a. Umek), Carl Finlow / Silicon Scally, The Advent, RadioNasty, London Modular and many more. Now after a 5 year hiatus Electrix returns for this momentous anniversary with the "I Am Evil" EP by AXIOMATIZE.

AXIOMATIZE is a new collaboration between Orson Bramley – the remaining member of long running cult Electro act Transparent Sound and James Preston a.k.a. DJ Manipulate of the infamous international scratch act, Skratchlords. The formation of AXIOMATIZE has the sole purpose of breaking down the boundaries that the stagnant, non-progressive dance music scene is dominated by, as they set to deliver a non-linear electro sound of the unreachable future.

Up first is the blistering "Leviatron" with its corrugated drum patterns, snappy hits and computer circuitry in meltdown, delivering a dystopian vibe. "I Am Evil (Extended Mix)" is dark and brooding with a mischievous low end prowling beneath the drums and talkbox vocals. Meanwhile, the closer, "Turbo Specs" is a crisp and bouncy cut with nimble low end and meticulous drum designs.

AXIOMATIZE – the process of reducing a system to basic truths.

Electronic Underground – Volume 1

Volume 1 marks the debut compilation from Electronic Underground, bringing

together 13 tracks that span the wide spectrum of underground electronic music. From progressive and oldschool-leaning electro to raw techno, breakbeat, ambient and noise, the release captures the label’s core ethos: to celebrate diversity within electronic subgenres and provide a platform for emerging voices.


DJ Unisex is an interdisciplinary DJ, Producer and Label Chief originating from Dessau (Germany). After international performances in Mexico, Switzerland and the Netherlands he released music on several labels, such as Distritio 91, P.A.C. Recs, Get Busy and Voragine. While his production style is heavily influenced by the sound of Old-School Electro and Dutch Westcoast synthesizer experiments, his DJ sets combine it all with a hefty preference for harsh Acid Lines and catchy synth rhythms. 
Since 2020 he is co-running the record label Self Learning System. In 2025 he started a residency on Callshop Radio, called Across The Hiss, showcasing a variety of different genres.

Technical Report on Sensitivity in Degraded Systems

In an environment where the boundary between the organic and the synthetic has eroded, Under Step operates as a sonic mapping of systems on the brink of collapse. Each pulse, each frequency, records a residual function: the recirculation of emotional waste, the persistence of propaganda in ruined spaces, mental trampling as a control mechanism, and finally, the cry for help from machines that have learned to feel.

Under Step does not narrate a dystopia: it documents a present condition. Beneath layers of raw electro, decayed funk, and lofi textures, failed attempts at affective reorganization unfold.

Synthetic voices emit a coded message:

The final warning before the definitive silence.
