Bio & TL:

Producing electro-vibes under Aztronouth and downtempo synthfunk obscurities under his alter-ego Oortfunk. 

Aztronouth had his first release on Boomstraat 1818, a Detroitminded label based in Amsterdam. 

With his roots in hiphop and Detroit techno, he loves funk, Electro brought those styles together for him, and he never looked back. 

It had been a couple of years since he last recorded a mix. But gladly dusted off his turntables for this occasion!

Track 2 ‘Downforce’ loops forward and backward through decaying brutalist cities and tunnels during an endless acid rainstorm. Sub bass competes with jackhammers replacing old neighbourhoods with condominiums supplying an endless amount of coffee. Ring roads constructed miles above the sidewalk carry human capital and currency in and out of the mirrored glass marketplace.

Downforce

Trust the Rust is back with a vengeance. The second compilation by Kri Records takes up where the previous one left off: rusty electro, occult wave, distorted acid and melancholic EBM.

We're happy to welcome back Alonzo, NY's finest, who opens the release with his signature 808 bass. Hayter pushes pitched-down vocals and filthy electro vibe further, while Chino delivers a diabolical ravey EBM banger. Serbian duo YusYus marches on with an authoritative synth anthem Masters Of The Future and Disco Morato finishes the A side with a hypnotic slow burner Ultime.

B Side opens with a bang by Parand, followed by arctic electro mist crafted by System Disorder (aka Dj Nephil). Marco Segato smoothly blended electro and jungle with the track Subconscious, Zagreb collective Lab Personnel's dark stomper might evoke fist pumps on the floor, while E.L.I.'s nostalgic piece Atonal Being rounds the release.

Available as a cassette tape and digitally on the 4th of October 2024.

En la cara A, el tema número 1 viene de la mano de Happy707, el electrizante dúo de Techno Trash Jackin' de Buenos Aires; el segundo tema, firmado por el artista argentino Black.n, destaca por su potente sonido New Beat y EBM complementado con cautivadoras voces; y cerrando la cara está Invalid User, cofundador del sello, aportando un impactante tema lleno de influencias Noise, EBM e Industrial.

En la cara B, Chris Mitchell da el pistoletazo de salida con una cruda composición impregnada de influencias Electro y Acid; el segundo tema viene de Fillmmaker, mostrando su oscura visión de los sonidos Electro; y cerrando Graphiel, el nuevo alias de nuestro cofundador y director del sello, pone el broche final a este debut en vinilo.

Anatomía del Control brings together six exceptional tracks from artists who have been an integral part of the label’s journey. On side A, track number 1 is delivered by Happy707, the electrifying Techno Trash Jackin’ duo from Buenos Aires; the second track, signed by Argentinian artist Black.n, stands out with its powerful New Beat and EBM sound complemented by captivating vocals; and closing the side is Invalid User, co-founder of the label, contributing an impactful track filled with Noise, EBM, and Industrial influences.

A split release of two incredible electro musicians at the crossroads of worlds: classic live electro from the German Intergalactic Noize Commander and new-school from Ukrainian Grid User on a fresh release of Mystictrax Label.

"Transcosmic" is also about the relationship between humans and cyborgs, and the transition of people to more robotic states in the future. "Schatten der Macht" is a struggle of a lyrical hero against a totalitarian automated system for the right to create freely, which is a joint work of both musicians. "State Transition" is about transformation and cloning, digitalization and smoothly flowing bass, a solo track by Grid User, as well as the title track on the release - "Transcosmic". The tracks alternate with brutal and slower, classic machine play in trax from Intergalactic Noize Commander: "Matter Of Time" and "Stranger 2.0" reveal to us the details of the continuation of Rick Deckart's life from Philip K. Dick's ominous science fiction with a life-affirming ending!
