Secrets (Your Fire)

1. Lillie 3:  Spiderweb spun sugar for music enthusics.  A cryptic carnival of harmony, voiced from the perspective of, presumably, an old lech reflecting on a young autistic woman.  This track is Steely Dan from head to toe, replete with tropic rock notes, mind-boggling chords, jazz sensibility, and a nasally Jewish inflection (I am Jewish).  Catchy chorus 2.  
2.  Roni:  If Paul McCartney and Harry Nilsson got together to write a silly love song, it might sound something like this.  If I got myself together to write a silly love song, it would sound exactly like this.  This charming and rustic little ditty comes straight from the whimsical heart.
3.  Control:  Now it's getting electronic.  Hard-hitting minimalist-turns-maximalist banger about vaguely ominous overarching conspiratorial thing with deep, triumphant resolution, with somewhat Laurie Andersonesque spoken word verses. 4. Cool Stuff: Slowing it down with this laid-back jazzy jam.  Cozy place to hang out.  It gets glitchy.  
5. Star: Classic minimal drum-forward synth and glitch song, with capricious wordplay and too-much-sun-in-your-eyes-getting-dizzy vibes. 
6. Last Summer: This sounds like 2010 indie electronic music was run through some kind of AI.  Dense, lush, creepy, dark, and dancy.

7. Interloper:  The title of this track speaks for itself.  
8. Planes Are Fun:  Cute little love song about planes and time, simplicity a la Lou Reed with a nice swatch of harmonies in the bridge.  
9. Behind Ourselves: Spiraling song with bizarre chord progression that unwinds and rearranges itself.  Ends up sounding like Stereolab at finish.  
10. Once: A very penultimate track; a thesis statement with a dance break bridge that explodes into transcendental harmonies, then hits you with the closer.  
11. Star, Triangle: It's a surprise!
