Previously, ThinkDeep appeared on Future Avenue, where his music quickly caught attention, paving the way for this first outing on the parent label. We're back with positive vibes and no. 10 of our podcast series, mixed by British-born, Berlin-based DJ and producer @gramrcy. 

In the past, he's had several guest slots on radio stations like NTS and Rinse FM, used to organize parties in Bristol as well as Berlin and since 2019 he co-runs the label @peachdiscs with his long-time friend @shanticeleste.
As a producer and in his DJ sets, Gramrcy's colorful sound is heavily infused with UK-style Bass, House & Techno, finessed with breaks and other classic rave elements. The mix he contributed showcases his range and style perfectly. Back in 1993, I remember standing in Fatcat and John says to me you’ll like this one...  brand new on a French label.  He then proceeded to play Acid Eiffel in it’s entirety.  As a bonus, the Soofle Ep was out at the same time so bought both. What followed was a succession of absolutely essential deep house and acid releases.  At the helm was Laurent Garner, Ludovic Navarre and DJ Deep and Didier Delesalle releasing music on a huge Multimedia stores own dance division of their record label.  The label then changed into F Comm and still managed t release some more amazing music.  I thought I’d put this together as their appears to be some very welcome re-issues on their way.  

Unfortunately, I couldn’t locate some records I wanted to add and some were just too fast but you can get a feel for the kind of stuff i used to buy and the quality that the label was putting out.

Will do Tracklist at some point but mainly consisted of Choice, Shazz, Deepside, Laurent Garnier, Aurora Borealis, Alexkid, Deep Contest, Aqua Bassino, Nuages, Soofle, LN’s, Alaska and Dave Angel

All done in one hit.  There’s a few wobbles and wobbles due to lack of Sync button.  Hope it doesnt detract from the enjoyment of the music.

Reptant’s addition to Bleep’s new mix series is a fine demonstration of the squelching strain of electro that the Australian producer has slipped into the water supply over the past few years. Beginning with a fizzing (and unreleased) soundscape from the producer himself, the rest of this hour-long set deals in the kind of technoid machine-funk mutations that will appeal to fans of imprints like Planet Euphorique and Central Processing Unit. Tunes come from esteemed artists such as Annie Hall, Datassette and Sansibar as well as further productions from @reptant_the_lizard himself - again, some of which are unreleased at the time of writing. 

"A mix between of eerie introspection, uneasiness and a fighting drive bridged with broken rhythm and a new fetish for high frequency bleeps. This mix was recorded in isolation and seems to capture everything I was feeling at the time, all the ups and downs, one track a time. Containing plenty of unheard material from friends and I."

When she's not working behind the counter at Phonica, Lucie divides her time between producing, DJing and performing as Avsluta, free improvisation and creating conceptual sound work. She runs Introspective Electronics, which is a monthly show on Netil Radio and a series of podcasts and chill-out gatherings at The Lion & Lamb in East London. 

Lucie’s second half of 2020 is packed with some exciting releases. First up, she has an electro-acoustic mini-album coming out with David Toop on Cafe OTO’s digital label Takuroku, followed by a collaborative experimental double LP with Christian Duka as Vãdin on Utter, and lastly, a tripped-out, progressive and trancey 12” shared with Miro SundayMusiq for E2-E8 Records.

"I am Colombian-born, north of France raised, currently based in Lille, French Flanders capital. I play pretty much every style from ambient music to new beat via Italo/dub disco. I've got affection for a wide range of music. One adjective: esoteric selection.
