Placklploob originated in the early 90's.  Not interested in sports or getting drunk, young musicians Andrew Bird and Dave Schofield spent most weekends in the school music department, learning production techniques and improvising absolutely terrible lyrics with one rule: no rewrites.  Ploob is all about just whacking down utter nonsense and producing it like it's a release.

Over the years, Plackploob has been joined by many talented performers, all joining in having a laugh and adding into the fun.
