Recorded in layers in Garageband - used a lot of loops and improvised over a rhythm  track ... not too much thought involved!

FirstTime

Also recorded over loops, this song is a layered improvisation, where I tried restricting myself to using basically just a minor scale or two. 

Organic

This little waltz came out kind of interesting ... it was composed as it was recorded ... sort of an asynchronous duo with myself. 

Ida Craddock

Recorded with Jazz Camp back in '04. Jazz Camp was/is Jon Kalos on Bass, Tom Costagliola on Drums and myself on guitar.

This silly track was made on Garage Band on the iPad. What fun it is to create such wretchedness!

Metuchen dance party

Paul Weiss (keyboard, vocals) and myself (guitar) had a lot of fun playing a mix of Tom Waits, Bob Dylan, Thelonious Monk and Miles Davis. We finally had a chance to record some tunes with David Entwistle at his studio. 

05 Chocolate Jesus

This is one I keep coming back to ... this time it's just banjo and an under-the-weather me giving it a go. All about that metaphorical going out 'West' that seems to plague many of us on the east coast. More literally, it is about the mountain pass between Jackson Hole, Wyoming and Driggs, Idaho on the other side. (c) Paul Acquaro.
