“Under Downin” and above the covers a line of young-folk, fiercely drunk, excited and uncertain about the upcoming events of their long and hazy night appears to the trained eye of a 3rd person spectator. Inside, only two protagonists enjoy a preliminary calm, playing each other their favorite tunes, relaxing before the events of the night unfold. An organ-bass-heavy slow wave of air fills the empty halls, slithering hihats, a damped clap and a grossly distorted vocoder-esque voice is calling out your name. Univack's label boss, Integral Bread @integralbread , returns to the label this time in colaboration with the misterious artist Orijen @orijenmusic , and the experienced dj and producer Lorena Moreno @lorena-moreno , making the single 'Lunar Eclipse', a Progressive House / Techno piece that shows the peculiar style of these artists, music with a lot of melodic and percussive elements, that make a sci-fy journey that can be danced in equal parts between body and mind.

The release is completed with a stunning remix by the well-known german producer Rauschhaus @rauschhaus , who manages to create a diferent version with several elements from the original track selected and processed perfectly, showing a less dark and a bit more emothional face than he usually uses.

Integral Bread, Orijen, Lorena Moreno - Lunar Eclipse (Rauschhaus Remix)

A Colombian of rare quality and distinction, Kamilo Sanclemente has been a force to be reckoned with via his "Beyond the Future" series. A trio of new track opens "Vol. 4". Joined by Fernanda Olaya on the powerful rhythmic force of "Empty Spaces"., a bouncing bassline is soon accompanied by a beautifully ethereal synth line. Textured pads contribute to an unhurried feel before a sparkling arp and haunting vocal enters at the mid-point. The result is a progressive house tour de force that adds more melodic layers and effects post-breakdown to dramatic effect. A darker vibe exudes from "Dissension" with its steady beat and hypnotic bass sequence. Melodic layers fill the mid-range as a filtered arp rises and falls with the bass pattern. New motifs make their presence felt at the stripped back mid-point as they shimmer and undulate into the second half rhythmic melange. The final offering sees Kamilo and Zalvador create a wonderful "Coalition". Trademark synth lines combine with a heavy beat and rolling percussive groove as filtered motifs and running melodies cascade off each other in bright sonic patterns. Converging half-way, a series of effects and white noise fills sit behind the melodic patterns as the dynamic rhythm creates an immaculate and club-friendly finale.

Danny Bonnici is a name requiring little introduction to the underground dance fraternity. A legendary figure and part of the triumvirate that made up the NuBreed act, the Australian star has gone on to achieve notable success under his own name for over a decade. Collaborations with fellow countryman, Luke Chable, have garnered much success as have releases for the likes of Open Records, Balance Music and John Digweed's Bedrock. Making his Proton Music debut, the Danny Bonnici remix of Kamilo Sanclemente & Mauro Aguirre's "Ambar" is a sparkling, haunting gem that resonates with melodic themes found in the original while a swathe of effects and new production material showcases precisely why the Australian is such a revered figure. Hitting its stride post-breakdown, a glorious new sustained bassline glides across the driving rhythmic foundation while pads and intermittent keys add depth to mesmeric interpretation.

Proton favourites, Trilucid, have mined a rich seam with a trademark sound that sees them sat regularly atop the progressive house charts. Through 2019's "Glint", 2020's "Astral" and July 2022's remarkable "The Loved Are Never Lost", The UK duo have harnessed a glorious sound that speaks volumes for their production prowess. Remixes for Pole Folder, Stas Drive and Petar Dundov have illustrated their credentials as they return to rework Kamilo Sanclemente's "Innocense", written with Giovanny Aparicio. Harnessing the rich melodic vibe, Trilucid have transformed the earworm motif of the original by encasing it within a crisp new rhythmic shell and nourishing it with a shimmering array of new counterpoint melodies that sit effortlessly alongside as though they were destined to be together. The result is a sublime club gem that waxes and wanes with dancefloor know-how, the epitome of exquisite modern progressive house.

Hitting the heights for a timely fourth time, "Beyond The Future" continues to show the way forwards.

Ziger’s Eat My Hat Music continues a strong summer season by welcoming Messier and EZEK to the label for their debut single. Hailing from the USA and Brazil respectively, both Messier and EZEK are well established in their solo careers. A combined discography boasts releases via Awen Tales, Beatfreak, Freegrant, Steyoyoke, Univack and more. The duo's astral sounds have also found favour with a broad selection of the underground’s tastemakers in Danny Tenaglia, Guy Gerber, Hernan Cattaneo, Nicole Moudaber and more. Having previously collaborated on a track for Beatfreak’s Elements 05 collection, Messier and EZEK join forces once again, making their Eat My Hat debut with ‘All I Need’, alongside a remix from Ziger. 

Aimed squarely at a peak hour dance floor, ‘All I Need’ marries trance-inducing rhythms and striking percussion with punchy beats and rolling grooves. An array of squelchy stabs and devilish effects steals the air across the first act, sweeping in and out of the stereo-field, as vocal overlays create intrigue leading into the break. Looking to bring greater emotional depth across the interlude, a primary melodic theme rises, bringing with it prophetic vibes and warm chord changes, before a well-crafted build and buzzing effects spark a devilish drop and charged finale.

The lone interpretation of 'All I Need’ is provided by Eat My Hat label boss Ziger. The veteran Greek artist had a memorable 2022 which was highlighted by projects for ICONYC, iNu, SLC-6 Music and of course Eat My Hat. 2023 has seen the Athens resident be choosy in his projects, with a lone remix of Axel Giova’s ‘Crescendo’ landing in March to a warm reception. Now, presenting just his second production of the year, Ziger overhauls ‘All I Need’ in epic fashion. While maintaining the electric spirit of the original, the veteran artist crafts a sweeping sonic experience all his own, a fiery journey where thunderous grooves meet siren-like wails and panoramic effects for the ultimate dance floor assault. A festival style break sits at the heart of the journey, as charming atmospheres and cosmic spirals give way to glowing vocal motifs and buzzing siren-like wails, onwards to a finale where euphoria awaits with arms raised and eyes closed.

Plaisirs Sonores Records proudly announces the release of the 'Shining EP' by prolific DJ/ producer D-Nox and Sharon Graziani, with a captivating remix by label founders Hicky & Kalo. This new release will be available on all major platforms from August 25th, 2023.

D-Nox, a DJ Awards winner with a career spanning over 30 years in electronic music, teams up with sound engineer and music producer Sharon Graziani for a rolling progressive house original 'Shining.' It features atmospheric synths, catchy melodies, and trancy-ish vocals that create an entrancing sonic journey. The synergy between D-Nox's seasoned musical artistry and Graziani's adept production expertise shines through in the track's remarkable depth and dynamism.

Complementing the original, label founders Hicky & Kalo take the track on a darker ride with their remix. This version of 'Shining' emphasizes the strong melody, adding a hefty kick and edgy vibe, transforming it into a peak-time dancefloor weapon.

Hicky & Kalo shared their experience, stating: "We've played this track a few times with great success. It always works so well in a club setting. The reception has been incredible, and we are excited for the wider audience to hear this."

D-Nox's illustrious career is notable for his international bookings and his exceptionally outstanding success in Brazil, where he commands a significant fanbase. Starting his musical journey in the early 90s, he became a significant figure in his hometown's music scene, Düsseldorf. He further cemented his mark in the industry by being one half of the duo D-Nox & Beckers. The duo has been releasing hits on prestigious labels such as Bedrock, Suara, and Sudbeat since 2004, in addition to D-Nox's own label, Sprout Music.

Sharon Graziani, the founder of Shagra Recordings, brings a wealth of experience from various projects like Monolock Music and Sandokan Music. His influences range from classic music and ethnic beats to the rhythms of nature, contributing a unique flavor to the 'Shining EP.'

The 'Shining EP' is a testament to the relentless pursuit of creating music that not only resonates with listeners but also pushes the boundaries of progressive house music.
