Plaisirs Sonores Records, the Montreal-based label founded by Hicky & Kalo, is thrilled to announce its monumental 50th release. 

To mark this significant milestone, the label presents two exceptional remixes of previously released tracks by the label founders. 

Karmon, the prodigious talent associated with Diynamic, emerges from a three-year hiatus to bestow an illustrious remix upon the timeless 'Time We Spent Together.' In his signature style, Karmon crafts a masterpiece that is destined to become an instant classic, honoring the melody of Hicky & Kalo. 

Makebo, known for his distinctive blend of organic and progressive elements, takes the reins on 'Luminous Path,' infusing the original track with his unique touch. Already championed by industry luminaries such as Lee Burridge, Hernan Cattaneo, Amonita, and M.O.S., Makebo's remix is set to captivate both old and new audiences. 

Label founders Hicky & Kalo express their gratitude for the journey so far: "Reaching our 50th release is a momentous occasion. We are honored to have Karmon and Makebo contribute their exceptional talents to remix our tracks. This milestone is a celebration of the incredible artists who have been part of our journey. Plaisirs Sonores Records proudly presents 'The Return', a captivating EP showcasing the talents of Kabi (AR) and Agustin Ficarra. This stellar release features three enchanting tracks that promise to mesmerize listeners and ignite dancefloors worldwide.

The EP kicks off with 'The Return,' a powerful composition that sets the tone with its dynamic energy and mesmerizing melodies. Next up is 'Brave,' a bold and atmospheric track that captivates with its emotive depth and infectious groove.

A rising Brazilian star with a growing portfolio of high-quality releases to his name, Tonaco makes his Meanwhile full EP debut with the 3-track 'Disurbia / Avalon / Crackdown.' 

After first appearing on July 2022's 'Meanwhile Excursions' compilation with 'Sententrional,' Tonaco now returns to Meanwhile with a first full solo EP. 

The final track sees 'Crackdown' continue the percussive narrative of earlier tracks as a hypnotising combination of tom fills and carefully placed melodic rhythms combine to create a soundscape full of vitality and brio. Building at the half-way stage with a wonderful bassline pattern, a light and airy melody then fills the sonic spectrum into a gloriously evocative breakdown of echoing keys and spatial effects, before dropping back into the smooth rolling groove of toms, hats and driving beat.
