After a 2018 debut for PHW Elements, Sebastian Sellares has made increasingly sizeable waves with his smooth and unique musical style. Chilean DJ/producer Cesar Romero has really found his footing under the Simply City moniker with releases for Global Underground, Hope Recordings and Renaissance to name a few. A DJ first and foremost, with residence duty at the infamous Stereo Montreal, his silky skills have seen him play alongside many of his heroes and tour the world. 

‘Full Circle’ opens with a tribal beat and distant echoes. Building into an engrossing emotive journey, melodics, vocals and a super smooth percussive underbelly combine in the most elegant way. Next is ‘Metropolis’, a darker tribal path from the off. Similarly, building at an effortless pace, keys and pads create airy soundscapes as you drift away on the beat. Finally, ‘Thrive to Survive’ takes a different direction entirely. Spiky bass notes lead the way and emotive voices drowned in reverb juxtapose against the stark beat. Uplifting sweeps and FX pull the sonic exploration higher creating a feeling of fulfilment.

'Making their Plaisirs Sonores Records debut are production duo, Kamilo Sanclemente & Dabeat, with an incredible three track EP called Lonely Space. The Colombian pair have collaborated for quite some time signing tracks to number of labels like Replug and The Soundgarden.

Opening with a cosmic weapon, 'Lonely Space' develops into an epic deep progressive journey filled with beautiful synth melody, female vocal, fx and hypnotic pads. Elegant and hypnotic from the first bar to the last. Next up, 'Orbital' digs deep too. Opening with more low end grunt, melodic arps float lift the mood midway before deep warm pads float into earshot. Musically rich and utterly satisfying. Finally, Alex O'Rion concludes the EP with an exquisite remix of 'Lonely Space'. Stronger and more intense, sonic fx and melodic patterns are balanced against the percussive bedrock leaving ample room for the main motifs to grow creating a sense of controlled peril.  '

Clubsonica Records begins 2021 by welcoming Antrim back to the label for a new single. The Cordoba resident and Or Two Strangers boss continues to be a favourite of progressive music tastemakers Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren, while laying claim to releases on Sudbeat Music and Hope Recordings. A prolific 2020 saw Antrim collaborate with fellow progressive music stars Interaxxis and Alex O'Rion, for releases on Cid Inc's Replug Records and Roger Martinez's Higher States, along with a solo outing for Guy Mantzur's Plattenbank Records and his chart topping Or Two Strangers vehicle 'Black Night'. Now starting the new year in style, Antrim returns to Clubsonica with 'Hoffnung', alongside remixes from Shai T and Rauschhaus.

Although best known for his progressive minded productions, Antrim often finds himself in the creative space between organic and progressive house. Such is the case with 'Hoffnung' which plays out over seven enchanting minutes. A narrative of warm swells and choir-like pads layer voluptuous bass lines and organic drums. Acting as a thematic core, the centrepiece showcases fluttery synth concepts; charming in design while moving fluidly across a radiant underbelly, as wispy effects and a rush of drums smoothly segues into a heavenly finale.

The first interpretation of 'Hoffnung' is provided by Shai T who makes his label debut. The Israeli artist has been riding a wave of success through the landscape of organic house. From his Tel Aviv studio, Shai's exquisite musical creations have found a home on the genre's most esteemed imprints, such as All Day I Dream, Anjunadeep, Do Not Sit On The Furniture, Lost Miracle and TRYBESof. Now as a regular in the Organic House Beatport Top 10, Shai makes his much anticipated Clubsonica debut with a gorgeous take on 'Hoffnung'. Always a creative remixer, the Israeli artist expands on the emotive qualities of the original with a truly breathtaking production. Full, warm and undeniably organic; it's buoyant low end, airy vocal phrasing and exotic percussion work in perfect sonic unison. An expansive centrepiece is highlighted by aquatic cascades and soaring strings, tastefully elevating mood with their elegant musicality, as the groove drops for a blissful final movement.
