Some would say good things come to those who wait, but when it comes to following dreams, female duo Plane Jane would say it’s only because better things were taken by those who didn’t. This ambitious mindset has led them to performances alongside G.O.O.D. Music/Def Jam artist, Big Sean, Curren$y, Chip tha Ripper, Dom Kennedy, Stalley, Mickey Factz and performed in sxsw and Foburg music festivals.  major publication features and simply good music. But make no mistake this group is anything but “plain.” Already stirring up the music scene with single, I Piss Glitter, both Bzy B and December promise to keep audiences on their toes. A minor reminiscent of “old skool” rap divas, Salt-N-Pepa, Plane Jane creates their own motif of rap mixed with electronica , syncopated beats and laid back to energetic rhyming patterns.


Bzy hailing from Nashville, Tennessee later relocated to New Orleans for school has more of the laid back flow while, New Orleans native, December is a bit opposite of her own personality, with energetic flows and distinct delivery. Before forming a group the two were solo artists but decided to do collaborate for a song. This song, Apollonia, led to performances around New Orleans where crowds wanted to see more of them as group. “After we did Bombfest with Lupe Fiasco, a lot of people were asking if we were going to do more songs,” says Bzy. A no brainer it was time, Plane Jane was born.      


Since then they have had countless performances including the A3C Music Festival, where they found themselves getting placed on one of the hottest stages, Perfect Attendance presented by Fadia Kader, via a Twitter audition. After submitting a song, it was obvious they were next up. They performed among other up and coming talents from all over the U.S. region.

 

The first ep, “The Untouchables” under Supreme Street placed them on their first touw with their label mates and events at legendary venues such as Santos Party House. The ep, had over 7,000+ downloads within the first 24hours and has over 15k+ downloads. The second ep, “J.A.N.E.” was released independently withover 10k+ downloads. The newest ep, “The Prelude to Royalty” is set to release early 2012 hosted by Dj Crisis.

 

 “Our ultimate goal is to share our music worldwide and change lives,” says December. With ambition, their deadly wordplay and continuous performances in the words of Plane Jane, “Nothing is impossible even the word says I’m possible.”
