Planet Monkey is an Edinburgh based collective of people interested in promoting psychedelic dance music. Our team consists of people from all around Europe that have been living in Edinburgh for sometime now. Members of the team are creative individuals also involved in other artistic and event organisation activities including art installations, web and graphic design and development, music production and participating in various festivals around UK.

Our main event is the COSMIC club night, a psychedelic trance event taking place every second Friday of the month at Studio in Edinburgh. Apart from our resident DJs, we sometimes invite artists mainly from UK but also from Europe. On the night you can enjoy the beautiful and psychedelic deco created by our team, including mesmerising VJ backdrops. At the same time as the main stage music, we often operate an additional sound system in the corridor of the club, with funky, psychedelic, chillout and alternative beats.

On top of that, we sometimes provide juggling and fire performances from local groups of artists to further enhance the overall experience.

During the summer we usually participate in various festivals in UK with the main one being the Eden Festival in Scotland.

Finally, we usually organise outdoor parties at the end of spring and during the summer time period, so please, keep an eye on our Events section or register to our mailing list for up to date info and instructions!
