An ambition like Tom Marshall’s. A fan favourite on the roster of renowned UK label Anjunadeep and one of the breakout stars of the melodic house scene, Marsh has sculpted a distinctly warm, emotional sound since he first emerged in the mid-2010s. Inspired by his teenage love of the emotionally rich, early 2000s trance sound and the musicality of crossover drum & bass acts like Pendulum, he’s distilled these disparate influences into a captivating and soulful signature style.

Hello fellow groovers. Today in charge of the sunset decks is an upcoming talent who goes by the name Moloquai. Originally from Italy but living in the heart of the Swiss mountains in the Canton of Valais, and when you think of wanting some proper groovy house sounds to transition from day to night time, look no further than this mix. 

A mix that means a lot to Moloquai because of his process of carefully selecting the right tracks, and as all music diggers know, the time and dedication it takes to put together 90 minutes of quality music is a work of art in itself. The transitions are silky smooth and and the tracks build up nicely to get you from sipping on cocktails to dancing with that cocktail in your hand.

About this journey:
Sinfonía Lunar - a sonic compilation in honour of our beautiful & ever-present planetary companion. Always looking so utterly beautiful in all of her diverse appearances. While affecting so much of our daily lives with many of us not even consciously noticing what I appreciate most about her is the cyclic energy she delivers. Initiating as well as terminating different periods. This mix was recorded during the New Moon in the beginning of October and represents not only the shift into a new lunar cycle but also the slow shift from the super dynamic & high energy summer season into the shorter, slower and cosier days of autumn and winter. It’s time to decelerate and journey into oneself. Let’s reflect and process all that happened during the spring & summer months of 2024. Continually riding the smooth wave of 94 BPM, this mix is a trip through some very hypnotic, deep and organic downtempo that genuinely affected me all throughout the year and especially recently. Saymon aka. Sneffinsky is the physical form of a soul constantly drifting through the cosmos, continuously inspired by new impulses and styles - the manifestation of life in the drift, whis results in enjoying and playing a wide variety of different styles and BPM ranges. For a while now he has immersed himself into the multilayered cloud of downtempo music, with which he feels he can create rooms that have the highest potential to truly connect to our inner essence. Hola Familia! I could have never imagined a more special debut like this en el país muy bonito de Guatemala! 🤍🇬🇹

Thank you Valeskiaga ( @l-eduardo-velasquez ) & the whole Mellow Crew for having invited me to share this musical story with everyone who was there! It was an honor to open the stage for @nikispins who absolutely smashed it afterwards. 🔥 

Having lived on and traveled with sailboats to come all the way here for the past seven months has left me no space and opportunities to play music for a bunch of dancing bees. Last night it was finally time again to connect with this energy. Playing, sweating, bouncing and feeling in a complete flow with all. Connecting with others through music cannot be put into words. Thank you for all the lovely moments to all my dancing beeees! 🐝

I am extremely happy & grateful to be here and am very much looking forward to what this upcoming time in Guatemala will bring into life.
