Hey there, how do you feel about listening to fast music for a good cause?

Bogota-based @bogoturerecords are releasing their compilation "All Eyes 'n' Colombia" this Friday to raise money in support of the country's ongoing protest movement against economic injustice, the government's mismanagement of COVID, and state violence. The protests - sparked by resistance against president Duque's proposed tax reform - have been met with incredible brutality by security forces. "Massacres, rapings and human rights violations have been daily bread. Colombia and all the people who've been fighting for their rights need our help."

In order to raise money for "various press, health care, food and human rights local organizations", Bogoture have rapidly assembled 22 top tier tight tracks from artists all over the world! Two of these artists, Dortmund's finest Bae Blade / @miatrice and @robintasi, contributed the stabby rave anthem "Chu Chu", which we have the honor of premiering today! As a part of Dortmund’s club scene Robin Tasi is known in the city as a DJ and producer with old school influences. Beginning as a member of the vinyl label ‚Contrary Records’ in 2015, he focused on events e.g. ‚Sectæ‘ with Andrea Belluzzi or acid influenced ‚Acid Wave‘ with Reshift (now as ‚Justin Tinderdate‘) who decided to run a label together called ‚Acid Wave Records‘. While hitting the clubs in and outside of Germany as a resident of Dylan K.’s ‚Hexagon‘ from Münster, he began to produce similar to his style of mixing: influenced by many different subgenres from the last thirty years of electronic music history. Robin Tasi decided to release his own productions or in cooperation with other artists on labels around the globe up to his own co-working label. In 2019, he and his close friends decided to start a project called ‚Dortmund Dance Division’ to support all kind of (rising) artists from the region and spread love on their own partys.

‘What Is A DJ If He Can’t Care’ is KRAMPF’s first release for Live From Earth after a long-term friendship and collaboration and marks the 4th installment of the label’s imprint ‘Live From Earth Klub’. Influenced by Rotterdam’s Gabber and Hardcore scene, the French DJ and producer has reworked these styles in two tracks presenting a unique and modernized interpretation of Early Hardcore heritage at 160 bpm. In addition to that, Live From Earth’s DJ Gigola and her production partner Kev Koko make their collaboration debut on this EP presenting a high-energy electro remix on the B-Side. KRAMPF’s EP will be released digitally on the 19th of April. The vinyl will be officially available on the 10th of May with a total of 300 records.

@garneaumusic who is most known for his mid-tempo club tools has been showing us his multi-faceted side lately.  This one is rather ridiculous, yet totally usable.. I'd probably have a heart attack if I heard this in a club, just saying.  

Although the majority of the VA is not traditional Juke, it does a great job at rounding up individuals that are certainly at the top of their game and pushing boundaries in their own right as we approach 2020.

As with previous Chromies releases, all money received will be going to a charity close to our hearts. This time around we will be donating to Kampania Przeciw Homofobii In Poland 🏳️‍🌈  KPH are a non-profit organisation helping our Polish LGBTQ+ brothers & sisters who are subject to some of the harshest discrimination in the world thanks to a openly homophobic government. According to KPH Every third LGBTQ+ person in Poland faces physical or psychological violence and young people do not feel safe in their schools or homes.

Governments in Poland started passing resolutions last year declaring themselves to be free of “LGBT ideology.” This toxic rhetoric has only served to deepen the external divisions between religious conservatives & the socially liberal poles. This is obviously unacceptable and needs to change immediately and that change is a possibility thanks to people like KPH. They use donations to organise social campaigns, educational materials, advocacy activities (including meetings with decision-makers and participation in the legislative process), to conduct media activities and court cases. These are long-term activities which need our support.
