Felix aka Brandy Zardinelli begann 2019 mit dem Auflegen – damals noch auf diversen Hauspartys in Gießen, zwischen einem Chaos an gebrannten CDs, spritzigem Ingwer- Birne-Kombucha-Radler und einem Paar CDJ 200, zu denen bis heute eine unangefochtene Liebesbeziehung besteht, entstand seine Liebe für die Musik und das Produzieren von eigenen Tracks.
Die damalige Club- und Feierkultur wurde dem sensiblen Gemüt irgendwann etwas zu dunkel. Also entstand der Wunsch nach neuen Formaten – nach Räumen, in denen Musik, Bewegung und Gemeinschaft anders erlebt werden können. Nach mehreren Ecstatic Dance Auftritten und eigenen Veranstaltungen war klar, wohin die Reise geht.
In der Stadt mit der höchsten Bioladendichte angekommen, wurde kurzerhand das Ingwerregal geplündert – und mit neuen, fusionierten Partyinspirationen ging es weiter:
eine Neuauflage des Contigo Kollektivs, das ursprünglich in Gießen/Frankfurt beheimatet ist und dort regelmäßig Ecstatic Dance Events anbietet. Seitdem organisiert Brandy in Freiburg verschiedene Veranstaltungen, die Musik, Gemeinschaft und das Tanzen in den Vordergrund stellen. Seit Anfang dieses Jahres hostet er mit dem Contigo Kollektiv eine Podcastserie.
Musikalisch bewegt sich der ganze Spaß zwischen funkigem und groovigem Indie Dance, Disco, House, Melodic House und Afro House. Aber manchmal immer noch viel zu schnell – denn sind 109 BPM nicht vielleicht doch gesünder fürs Herz? Man will ja schließlich 100 werden.
Aus diesem Anlass hat Brandy für den Spulenigel Podcast einen herbstlich-groovigen Mix zusammengestellt, der den ganz charakteristischen Style trägt und die feine, verspulte Seite seiner selbst zeigt.

Finally the re-recording of my Mystic Creatures Festival set! :) it was a super nice experience to open the Spirit Space on thursday. Starting still in the warmth of the day, dancing into a beautiful sunset at the end of my set <3 soundwise something new for me - I didn't want to play "classic" downtempo and was thinking of something more trancy, dreamy, but with enough drive to make you dance and start smoothly into the festival :) enjoy listening to the recording and thanks to all the producers for your music!

Heute ist die liebe GERDA. mit einem Podcast bei uns zu Gast. In Berlin geboren und aufgewachsen, kam sie schon früh mit elektronischer Musik in Berührung. Am wohlsten fühlt sie sich mit groovigem Downtempo, bouncy Midtempo und verträumtem Deep House. So steht auch dieses Set ganz im Zeichen des Fluffs.
