Double Stars; often orbiting in tandem and gravitationally bound together, are usually mistaken as a singular light. An unmistakable parallel to the Space Cadets, Leeds trail blazers Lisene and Adam Pits join in magnetic union for Planet Euphorique’s big 1-5 to showcase their sole vision; superior prog synergy. Warp Drive gets flung into hyperdrive by your local enigma Rudolf C and the B side is a case of nuclear audio fission, splitting the duo so their individual and technical flair can shine. The title track breaks in the EP with frisky righteous drums, precision in rhythm; swinging stylishly. Cosmos loom within reach, infinite rolling with baselines built for the long haul; an expertise in tension and release revealed through sonic sweeps and delicate filter explorations. A match made in heaven, Rudolf C has been gliding on similar trajectories; elevating the Warp Drive to a celestial level; the Psychedelic Envisionment accentuating the original's intricacies whilst maintaining the swagged flow and dancefloor steeze. Distorted pulsations and modulations swirl above head to signal the B side split show; driving bass anchoring the higher frequency expeditions, Lisene mastering the spectrum of sounds with Moral Panic and breaking up the 4/4 pursuit. Meanwhile Adam Pits closes things out with an ethereal highway drive; cruising, twinkling and boasting telescopic trance like skills.

Close Encounter (Privacy Remix) [A7A]

Naysayers of the edit… beware! Remotif taps into the Gen-Z pop zeitgeist under newly-minted alias YASSCORP. to rewire some of his favourite recent earworms into weapons-grade club tackle. Y.A.S.S. is a delectable whirlwind of vocal driven trance youphoria that celebrates the feminine divine by turbocharging it with kaleidoscopic dancefloor NRG.

The rapturous leanings of ‘I’m The Problem’ open the proceedings, a distilled saccharine crystal catalyst that promises to Swiftly jumpstart the function. On the second track, slinky broken beats and low-end heft coalesce with sultry, smoky vocals to make sure ‘U Ain’t Leaving’ the dancefloor.

Transmitting progged-out squiggly acid radiance with more deftly deployed snippets of another iconic vocal in ‘If You Ever Cared’ creates a winning combo that’s sure to be good 4 u. Bad Things ramps up the tempo with pummelling salvo of relentless hyperkinetic sexual potency that’ll have you begging for that sweet release. Finally, an aptly titled ‘Blissdub’ of the first track rounds things off with a slightly more restrained, groove-driven interpretation for all the heads out there.

@hasvat-informant returns to Amniote Editions under his Intellagama alias with the Reciprocate EP. The HbF capsule sees the Naarm (Melbourne) based producer implant a fusion of sonic explorations; tender wandering synths, washes of twitching percussion, layered aerial textures and pulsing rhythms merge together to full visceral effect.

Heliobolus (@spekkiwebu) and @eastern-distributor feature on the remix tip to dizzying effect, with delicate cuts that build into deep, palpitating odysseys.

The HbF capsule will be unleashed in full force on the 23rd Feb alongside a run of limited edition caps with spiral embroidery designed by Copenhagen based design studio Alexis Mark. The caps will be available for purchase via Proton Records, more info to follow.

Usually inhabiting the large crossing between progressive trance and 90's tech house, Von GDK is coming through with a mean streak of sci-fi propulsion and smooth dancefloor pressure, pushed into heads-down interzones of tunnelling throb and gloomy melodic flourish.
Curve spirit is a condensate of the French producer’s psychedelic scope in its rawest form. The EP takes shape in a three tracker oozing with his sound signature, complete with a remix of Berlin's cutie troublemaker 131bpm.  While 'Liquid Pharaoh' comes as contemplative scape of deep trance and proggy rhythms with ethereal atmospheres and notions of introspection for a definite meditative club use, 'Curve Spirit' is channelled through the same explorative prism maintaining a balance between rich textures, fullbody drums and stargazing melodic parts.
 'Square Magnitude' takes turn to a ravey direction with its robust bassline and sharp, staccato stabs pulling the listener from cosmic depth to full-throttle intensity. Pulsing with hypnotic pressure and industrial edge, it provides a soundtrack of choice to euphoric, high-octane moments.
The remix of this last one by 131bpm takes things in a sexier, more club-oriented direction. This rework keeps the track's driving energy but adds a smooth, hypnotic progression with a groove that feels tailored for peak-hour moments-slinky, seductive, and absolutely built to move bodies.
