Let’s start 2025 with gingembre's first album, “Human Traces” — an inquiry into what it means to be a human.

Each of the 11 tracks was produced reflecting on the complexity of existence. From “There is No Spoon”, a nod to The Matrix and our self-created realities, to “Fragments of the Self”, inviting the listener to reflect on their own inner world.

While the album acknowledges the presence of melancholia and darkness, its overarching tone leans towards hope and bliss — an uplifting reminder of the beauty found in our shared struggles and triumphs.

Born in the dark streets of Cairo, grown to the unforgettable forests of Santa Esmeralda, spending its teen years in Bombay and Tangier markets, mature into the deep spacey Jungle of Ghana we proudly present you a new label from the land of the pyramids: SHANGO RECORDS invites you to an unheard world music psychedelic trip: like through a colorful kaleidoscope we will melt down Indian and Pakistani Vibes, Arab-Tek and Oriental groovy vibes, Afro-Beat rhythms n' pieces, Cumbia Tropicana flavors and cosmic Ghetto-Latin vibes into forbidden sounds of frenzied electronic dancefloor rituals. Outside traditional paths these driving grooves and polyphonic structures take the adventure seeking dancer to Dionysian highs and places never been before.

But the tiger gave another malicious snarl and turned away. Dragon stood his full height until even the tiger’s moonlit shadow disappeared from view. “Are you all right?” Dragon asked finally. “That tiger…” Minli said in a daze, “that tiger was going to kill me!” “I know,” Dragon said. “That tiger was truly evil. When you screamed, I could feel it.” And strangely, without knowing why, Minli burst into tears. The tiger’s roars still echoed in her ears and she could still see his cruel claws and eyes. He likes music and freedom. 

Shamray is a very talented multi-instrumentalist, his live featuring during electronic music sets always brings a special groovy atmosphere filled with pure magic.
