Born in the dark streets of Cairo, grown to the unforgettable forests of Santa Esmeralda, spending its teen years in Bombay and Tangier markets, mature into the deep spacey Jungle of Ghana we proudly present you a new label from the land of the pyramids: SHANGO RECORDS invites you to an unheard world music psychedelic trip: like through a colorful kaleidoscope we will melt down Indian and Pakistani Vibes, Arab-Tek and Oriental groovy vibes, Afro-Beat rhythms n' pieces, Cumbia Tropicana flavors and cosmic Ghetto-Latin vibes into forbidden sounds of frenzied electronic dancefloor rituals. Outside traditional paths these driving grooves and polyphonic structures take the adventure seeking dancer to Dionysian highs and places never been before.

Before either child could say a word, Minli rushed up with a hurried bow. “Please,” she said, “my friend, the Green Tiger injured him and he’s hurt and…” The grandfather quickly pushed the children off of him and stood up. “Hurt by the Green Tiger!” he said, “Take me to your friend quickly. She is cold.”The boy ran for his blanket, stopping to pick up the torn fabric from his pants, and brought it to her. Minli wrapped the gray blanket around her. She was grateful for its warmth but even more grateful that the man wanted to help immediately. “How long ago was your friend injured?” the man asked as he urged her to lead the way. After Minli told him, he shook his head. “We must hurry, then,” he said. “The Green Tiger is no ordinary beast. His teeth and claws are poison. Without the medicine I have, he will die before seeing the sunset.”
Jon Sweetname is a gentleman with good taste. This is his fourth offering for Shango Records. These tracks have build the end to a beginning . Hansonic, Hully Che and Lucas Lead live in the end and are ready for the new beginning.

Olendo's musical odyssey commenced during the formative years of his life, when he first picked up a guitar, igniting a lifelong passion for music. This initial connection acted as a gateway to explore the vast symphony of instruments, leading him through the corridors of piano keys, the rhythmic heartbeat of drums, and the ethereal allure of various ethnic instruments during his high school years.

Driven by an insatiable curiosity for musical diversity, Olendo embarked on a quest to blend disparate genres, a pursuit that saw fruition in his early teens when he delved into music production at the tender age of twelve.

Venturing into the heart of the electronic music scene in his early twenties, Olendo found his calling amidst the hypnotic allure of Minimal Deep Tech Music, under the artistic venture of Nuendo. His prowess behind the decks carried him to venues across the eastern expanse of Australia and beyond, gracing international stages with his mesmerizing performances.

In 2022, a transformative residency at a Tulum-inspired enclave in Sydney rekindled Olendo's creative flame, steering him toward the enchanting realm of downtempo house music. Thus, the Olendo project was born, woven from the threads of his diverse musical heritage and boundless passion for genre fusion.
