Ken Sekiguchi’s Frankenstein Complex deals in restraint. Small variations do the heavy lifting: a filtered stab, a tick of percussion, a bass nudge that tilts the floor a few degrees darker. It recalls peak minimal’s aerodynamic years but dodges pastiche by keeping the arrangement agile and the sound design crisp.

This is my 2 hour set playing at sunset. I was able to move around and play across sub-genres, which is always my favorite thing to do. Probably one of my favorite sets musically of the past year :) Hope you enjoy!
