Wedding Playa @ AfrikaBurn 2022  (South Africa)

Sometimes you find yourself in the middle of nowhere, and
sometimes in the middle of nowhere you find yourself…

It was an honor for me to play to the wedding of Megan and David at the POD, two good burner friends. The POD is an amazing place in the middle of the desert of Karoo. Here is my 2h30 set performed on the 23rd April 2022.

The rāga saga is a series I have started to act as a cultural collectiva of my favourite artists from all over, Each raga is an array of melodic structures with musical motifs, considered in the Indian tradition to have the ability to "color the mind" and affect the emotions of the audience and this journey (raga) comes straight from the Russian federation by the supremely talented @jazimusique
They also run the tasteful collective Zolotaya Orda @goldenhordesounds

Jazi is a new project made up of Arches and Ilaee from Kazan city (Russia) sharing the same love for Deep Ethnic progressive sound. When playing, Jazi invokes landscapes, animals & rituals of their homeland Russia – a multinational country rich in big territories, lakes, forests, mountains. Each track is always looking for new haunting sounds to bring you time travels between past and present, from east to west. Sit down and take a journey.

Then it slowly starts to become lighter, the sun peeks out, energies are soft and delicate.
