❖ Once upon a time, in a world filled with wonder, a chameleon, an iguana, and an axolotl found themselves drawn together. They converged at a place called Delirium, a haven where creativity thrived and the boundaries of expression were limitless. United by their shared passion for artistic collaboration, they embarked on a musical journey, determined to craft a masterpiece like no other. They named their creation "Social," an ode to the power of unity and connection.

❖ However, as time passed, they realized that their magnum opus remained incomplete, despite centuries of tireless effort. Acknowledging that perfection might forever elude them, they chose to let go. They embraced the notion that art, in its essence, was a fluid and ever-evolving entity. They decided to depart from Delirium and seek solace in a fictional place called Slow Bar.
It was a place where they could bask in the freedom of self-expression, unburdened by the weight of expectations. As they arrived at Slow Bar., a wave of tranquility washed over them. 

❖ In this enchanted haven, the chameleon, the iguana, and the axolotl shed the weight of their unfinished creation and immersed themselves in the joy of making music without boundaries. Slow Bar. provided them with a canvas on which they could paint their melodies, free from the constraints of time and perfection. Slow Bar. had a way of amplifying their talents, allowing them to tap into the infinite reservoir of their creativity.

The story behind "Chain of Trust" EP -

The “Chain of Trust” is a concept in computer security that refers to the process of validating each component from the end entity up to the root. When I started working on this EP, my goal was to create a deep house track using Indian instruments and vocals - something that would express my gratitude towards the roots of my Indian heritage. The "chanting" vocals and the arps that go along with it invoke feelings of warmth, kindness, love and spirituality - things that have been fundamental to my beliefs and upbringing - my roots!!

I was excited to partner with @Kosa records on this EP, who also has a rich Indian heritage. Talented artists  @djednoodle @djfuungai & @tagahma brought in their creative ways of expressing these feelings and in making this EP more complete.

Madloch's Sound Avenue is thrilled to welcome Maltese duo Huts On Beaches to the label for their debut EP Seasons, featuring two refreshing melodic progressive house cuts that showcase their unique sonic signature.

Hailing from the island of Malta, Karl Gauci and Keith Bunce first crossed paths a decade ago during a serendipitous search for a vintage Korg MS-10 in Birkirkara. This chance encounter blossomed into a creative partnership that saw them collaborate in various projects, most notably with local electronic band CRUX, where they shared stages with international acts like Alphaville and Uriah Heep.

The duo's journey as Huts On Beaches began taking shape in 2022, when they channeled years of accumulated ideas into their first productions. After honing their craft at Malta's renowned Temple Studios, they unveiled a series of well-received tracks, including Coastal Signals and Flying over the French Riviera, establishing their reputation for atmospheric, meticulously crafted electronica.

Their Seasons EP for Sound Avenue marks an exciting new chapter, with the title track and Cycles demonstrating their evolved production approach: blending organic musicality with the energy of progressive house. As they continue working on new material in their Maltese studio, this release positions Huts On Beaches as one of the most promising emerging acts in the melodic house sphere.

In Rose Golden Bubbles he has filled the composition warmly, solidly & instrumentally. Peaceful, discreet and yet full of meaning with a clear message. 

With the two remix acts Sangeet and Estray the story fullfills it's individual entirety. Sangeet is constantly hitting the nerve of the time with his recognizable style of clear grooves and an acid-heavy foundation that comes artistically to the fore. Like San Miguel, Estray is musically unpredictable and takes us on a journey in two versions. With a clear, dreamy & nature-loving, organic atmosphere he leds us towards Gaia's home.
