Der erste Schnee

Zum ersten Mal in diesem Jahr fällt Schnee. Die weißen Flocken haben im Schnitt die Größe von 2 Euromünzen und erinnern in ihrer Gesamtheit an frisch gesiebten Puderzucker. Der Schnee kommt bei diesem Schauspiel der Natur in Schüben. Manchmal blickt man aus dem Fenster und sieht einfach nur einen blass blau-grauen Himmel. Beim nächsten Mal hingegen sieht man wildtanzende Eiskristalle, die sich scheinbar unorganisiert und desorientiert ihren Weg zur Erde bahnen. 
Schneefall mit allem was dazu gehört sehen wir in unseren Breitengraden immer seltener. Dementsprechend ist und bleibt der Anblick eines solchen Gezeitenphänomens ein Event und definitiv ein Blickfang. Intensives starren in das Schneegeschehen wirkt ähnlich entspannend wie das hypnotische Flackern eines Kamin- oder Lagerfeuers. Also ein warmes Getränk der Wahl zur Hand und Augen auf für Mutternatur.

Joe Carl verewigt sich mit diesem Live Set auf KataHaifisch. Wie es der Name bereits impliziert, wurden für diese Komposition nur eigens produzierte Werke verwendet. Der einheitliche und dennoch vielseitige Stil zieht sich durch den gesamten Podcast. Dabei kommen die unterschiedlichen Grooves, Stimmungen und Akzente wunderbar zur Geltung. Die Nummer 244 macht definitiv Lust auf den Sommer, Sonne und ein unbeschwertes Tänzchen am Sandstrand.

Music connects and harmonies unite. This is the basis on which this first joint project by the Freiburg DJ duo was created. 

Lukas aka. Drückeberger: A professional musician to the fullest, studied trumpeter, part of RasgaRasga (https://www.rasgarasga.de/) and the Dreisamkeit Kollektiv (@3samkeitparty).
Almost 3 years ago he began to integrate his musical know-how into Djing and since then he has been improvising live with his trumpet to his sets. 

His musical understanding speaks for itself. Listen to the sounds and the sensitivity with which everything is coordinated and you will get an insight into Lukas' world of music.

Jakob aka. Der letzte Zwilling: Freiburg-based DJ for over 12 years, globetrotter and part of the FjordFest collective (@fjordfest). Music has always played a very important role in his life since he was a child. The time in South America, especially in Sao Paulo, shaped and deepened his musical understanding and the standards of his music. It's all about harmony! This is the key to understanding.
Only those who listen carefully will understand the story that is being told by these two.

When the music tickles a deep longing in your heart, awakens your lust for being alive, creates a kaleidoscope of imagination & seduction, animating both the inner-children that need to play, and the ancient-wise ones that know we need to dance to feel human:  it's not JUST about the music.  

It's the reflection of the vibrant soul behind the decks:  they are infusing the heart of the dance-floor with their love and life-force...and anyone who has been baptized by Narfux's beats and been embraced by her presence knows exactly how this love-shower feels like:  like warm rain in August, like cheeky fairy-spirits dancing inter-dimensionally, like green moss beckoning you into a cuddle-puddle of love and tenderness.

With so much gratitude to the raver-gods-of-Berlin for allowing us to drink from her nectar. Enjoy the journey, and keep on coming back for more (as we all do).

I want to say a huge heart felt thank you to all of you that joined me on this journey, with a bumpy start in technics you all stood patiently in trust with me, allowing me to be vulnerable in my human-ness, supporting the natural ways of imperfection and then celebrating with so much love and togetherness. Najesh & Artišoko enchanted us with their music as soon as we stumbled upon them and we are very happy to welcome them to the family. Two beautiful souls from Switzerland describing themselves as "close friends for many years, sharing the same passion for music, one ear for bass and the other for highs, complement[ing] each other." His musical immersion reaches its climax when he arrives in the DEEP Sea. There he discovers the species of sound images that continuously shape his sound: Downtempo. His passion grows through DJ ing and music production as he finds his place at the bottom of the sea. 
The Bioluminescence of his sound creates glowing colors in which you can hear the glimmer of technoid sounds. As playfulness meets the melancholy of the deep, even the funk stays on. It is a wondrous ocean in which Kunterweiß searches for perfection of sound. A place to immerse. Whoever listens carefully, experiences their own Journey!
